Recently, iQOO confirmed that they will be launching a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered flagship mobile phone. According to new leaks, the upcoming iQOO 9 line-up will be powered by this new chipset from Qualcomm. It has been already confirmed that the all-new iQOO 9 Series will include two handsets. These handsets are iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro/ Legend. As per reports, the upcoming iQOO smartphone is likely to launch in India in late January or early February.

According to recent leaks, the iQOO 9 Pro mobile is likely to come with bigger OLED display. This display will come along with a Quad-HD resolution. Moreover, the Pro variant will also get curve edges. On the other hand, the vanilla iQOO 9 could launch with an OLED display featuring same dimensions. This variant could get a Full HD+ screen resolution. These details about the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro displays are reveal by the popular tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
According to his reports, both the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro could sport a 6.78-inch E5 OLED displays. These displays are developed by Samsung. Being specific, the iQOO 9 mobile could launch with a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ resolution along with a flat display. On the other hand, the iQOO 9 Pro will come with a Quad-HD screen resolution and curved edges. The details about the display refresh rate on iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are not confirm as of yet. Popular tipster Bald Panda on Weibo claims that both the mobiles under the iQOO 9 Series will feature a big 4700mAh battery. It will come along with 120W fast charging support. To recall, the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro mobile also supports 120W fast charging solution. But each handset comes with different sized batteries. Earlier it was reported that the vanilla iQOO 9 could launch with gaming-oriented features. It could support pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons on either edge along with dual x-axis linear motors for haptic feedback.
iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro Mobile: Specifications
According to previous leaks, the iQOO 9 mobile phone appeared on the IMEI database website. Moreover, the database website confirms that the device could appear with a model number V2171A. The specifications of the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are currently unknown.
However, the rumours do suggest that the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro could launch with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, these iQOO phones will feature triple rear camera setup. For the software, these upcoming smartphones are likely to run on Android 12 OS out of the box.
