Along with the global launch of Redmi Note 11 Series, Xiaomi has officially announced the global rollout of MIUI 13 for the users across the world. During the official announcement, the Chinese smartphone makers revealed the list of Xiaomi Global mobile phones that will be eligible for the MIUI 13 update.
Additionally, keep in mind, the list includes only those smartphones that will be receiving this update in the first quarter. Furthermore, Xiaomi also confirms that the rollout process for MIUI 13 will begin with the Xiaomi Mi 11 and the Mi 11T series. Xiaomi MIUI 13 Update global rollout
The second smartphone series in line to receive the MIUI 13 update will be the recently launched Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 10 Series. After this the MIUI 13 update will also be pushed to the Redmi Note 8 series featuring Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro and others. Later, the update will be landing on the Redmi 10 smartphone.
During this announcement, Xiaomi also confirms that the latest MIUI 13 version is not based on the Android 12 OS. Moreover, this confirms that many phones will not receive the Android 12 update. MIUI 13 Update teased for India
In another report, Xiaomi has also started teasing for the release of MIUI 13 update in India. To recall, it has been less than a week since the company announced the global rollout plan for MIUI 13. This MIUI roadmap is for the global models outside China.

In the latest MIUI 13 version, Xiaomi has further optimized performance over the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version. The Chinese tech giant also claims that there is improvement in performance and battery life with MIUI 13. Furthermore, the App Fluency improves by 23 percent. The new update will fewer the frame drops when running the company’s inbuilt apps. Xiaomi claims that the frame drops will reduce by up to 15 percent in the newer MIUI update. Keep in mind, this is while running the non-system apps.
New font on MIUI 13 Update
With the new MIUI 13 version, the Xiaomi flagship smartphone will now allow up to 14 apps to run in the background on flagship smartphones. With the latest MIUI 13 update, the tech giant also brings a new system font called the MiSans. Furthermore, it will bring new widgets and live wallpapers.
