Microsoft’s upcoming Windows operating system is likely to launch with a major overhaul. The all-new Windows OS will be dubbed as Windows 11 OS. According to reports, some of the screenshots of this latest Windows OS has been leaked online via the Chinese website Baidu. In these screenshots, the entire Windows OS appears. Additionally, the images confirm for the refreshed UI, centralized Start Menu and much more. These days Microsoft Executives have been already teasing about the “next generation Windows”. As per previous post, the new Windows operating system is likely to unveil at a launch event on June 24.
According to leaks from The Verge, the leaked operating system images showcase the new Windows 11 user interface. It features the new Start Menu, which looks quite identical to the one we saw on Windows 10X leaks. Design-wise the all-new Windows 10X operating system looks different from the Windows 10. However, some design tweaks are visible in the UI.
Windows 11 Operating System: Tweaks and Features
The Verge managed to download a copy of “Windows 11 Build 21996.1”. This copy of the latest Windows OS unveils some of the key elements of the upcoming Windows operating system. As per leaks, the latest Windows 11 OS will adopt some visual changes from the Windows 10X. The latest Windows will feature the centralized Start Menu, which has been simplified. In the latest version, the live tiles have been replaced by the standard icons that shows all the pinned apps, recent files and much more. Additionally, the app icons and the Start Menu has been moved to the left-hand side also.
The context menus, apps and other appears with rounded edges. The folder icons appear in more vibrant looks. The new icon labeled Widgets have been added in the Windows 11 Taskbar. Since this is an early version, the Widgets seems to be incomplete with not much functionality. Although, these leaks give a fair idea about the functionality of new operating system. Th widget slides out to give a quick access to the news, weather, and other web content. Additionally, this latest Windows OS could also get dark mode support.

Windows OS: Other improvements
The report from The Verge further adds that Windows 11 will offer tweaks in the built-in apps. Additionally, it will include new snap controls. These can be access from the maximize button on all the apps. It will enable users to quickly snap windows side-by-side. Additionally, users can also arrange them in section on the desktop. The leaked Windows operating system does not provide any details about the all-new Windows Store. However, according to reports, Microsoft could bring an all-new Windows App Store with this latest operating system.
Further, Microsoft is likely to add new system sounds in the latest Windows Operating System. Other improvements may include Xbox experience in Windows 11. To recall, earlier, Microsoft cancelled the Windows 10X Operating System in May. Some of the features of the Windows 10X reflects on the Windows 11. Meanwhile, this makes the latest Windows a more refined operating system to stand against the Apple macOS and Google Chrome OS.
Windows 11 Release Details: Launch Date and Time
The Redmond based tech giant is slowly and steadily sharing hints about its plans to launch the upcoming Windows OS. According to reports, the company is planning to host an online Windows event on June 24. In this event, the company is likely to showcase the next-generation of Windows 11.
