OnePlus 10 Pro India launch might be delayed; could launch in China first

From the past few weeks, we have been hearing leaks and rumours about the upcoming OnePlus phones. The leaks and rumours suggest that the Chinese smartphone manufacturers are currently working on the launch of the successor to OnePlus 9 series. The new flagship phone series is likely to be the OnePlus 10 series. In this upcoming mobile phone series, the Chinese smartphone markers are likely to launch two new models. These models are likely to be name as the OnePlus 10 and the OnePlus 10 Pro.

OnePlus 10 Phones: Launch details

Since past few weeks, a lot has been already revealed about this upcoming OnePlus 10 series. According to latest reports, the OnePlus 10 series phones will be launching in the month of February, 2022. The launch could take place around the same time as the launch of Samsung Galaxy S22 series of smartphones. A confirmed launch date will only be finalized by OnePlus in the time to come.

OnePlus 10 Series India launch delayed?

A recent report from the popular leaker Max Jambor reveals that OnePlus 10 series phones could first launch in China. However, the global launch will take place later. The leaker suggests that the global launch of the latest OnePlus 10 series is likely to take place in the month of March or April 2022. Although, the exact launch date has not been confirm as of yet.

This suggests that OnePlus is following that same OnePlus 9RT strategy. Even after the launch of OnePlus 9RT phones in its home market of China. The smartphone brand did not reveal as on when it will be launching the OnePlus 9RT in the global markets including India. This strategy will be different for OnePlus, as the company releases its phones in global market including India on day One.

The Chinese brand is taking foot notes from its sister brand Oppo. Oppo always prefer to first launch its products in China and later followed by the global market. OnePlus 10 Pro Phones: Specs (Expected)

Ahead of official launch, the render images of the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone appear online. Additionally, these images showcase the complete design of the upcoming OnePlus phones. As per these renders, the OnePlus 10 Pro will feature triple rear camera setup along with LED Flash. This camera setup will be housed inside a huge rectangular camera module. The camera setup will be accompanied by the Hasselblad branding inside this module.

• Display and Design:

As for the specifications, the upcoming Pro variant under the OnePlus 10 series is likely to feature a 6.7-inch display. This display will come with 20:9 aspect ratio along with 120Hz screen refresh rate. On the right edge, the OnePlus phones will get an alert slider and power button. Whereas, the volume rockers are place on the left edge. The smartphone will also come with USB Type C connectivity option at the bottom. • Hardware:

The complete hardware will get its power from a 5000mAh battery along with support for 125W fast charging solution. As for the storage configuration, the OnePlus 10 Pro phones could launch with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is likely to get its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset. The flagship chipset from Qualcomm is likely to launch any time in early next month. The OnePlus 10 series devices could also run on the unified OS which is developed by the fusion of the Color OS and the Oxygen OS.
