These leaks come from the renowned tipster, Evan Blass, who has a good track record of revealing accurate information about upcoming smartphones. In a recent report, Evan Blass, a well-known and respected tech blogger, shared his findings about the third phone in the OnePlus 9 series, which is likely to be the OnePlus 9R. Blass also shared an image showing the name of the handset in the source code. Although, he did not disclose the source of the image.

Android Central reports that a OnePlus device may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. In contrast, the OnePlus 9 series, potentially including the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, could utilize the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Interestingly, the recently launched Redmi K40 Pro 5G also boasts the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The OnePlus 9R is likely to be the most affordable phone in the OnePlus 9 series, and is rumored to have a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It may also have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
