A couple of mid-range smartphone from Oppo namely Oppo A74 4G and A74 5G silently launches in select Asian markets.

Oppo launches couple of mid-range A74 series smartphones in select Asian markets. These smartphones are Oppo A74 and Oppo A74 5G. The Oppo A74 series of smartphone launches in Thailand, Philippines and Cambodia. This series features a couple of smartphone which comes with different set of specifications. This makes them stand out, as other smartphones only get different processor whereas rest of the specification remains the same.

Oppo A74: Price and Availability in Asian Markets

The 4G variant of Oppo A74 is currently listed on only two Asian markets including Philippines and Cambodia. In Philippines the smartphone is available in two stores. Whereas, in Cambodia, the smartphone is listed on company’s official website. The smartphone comes in two color options including Prism Black and Midnight Blue colors. The pricing for this smartphone starts at Peso 12,000 which is approximately Rs 18,125. In Philippines, the customers can pre-order this device from Lazada and Shopee.

Oppo A74 5G: Price and Availability in Asian Markets

The pricing for the all new Oppo A74 5G starts at BAHT 8,999 which is approximately Rs 21,075. The smartphone is currently sold via Shopee and Lazada. The smartphone is available in two color options including Fluid Black and Space Silver colors. Additionally, if customer buy this smartphone from Shopee, they will get an additional free throw pillow and a portable rechargeable fan as a freebie. However, the Chinese smartphone makers has not made any official announcement about it’s availability in India and other International markets.

Oppo A74: Specifications

Meanwhile, The all new Oppo A74 comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The smartphone is power by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. This chipset comes paired with Adreno 610 GPU. Additionally, the device comes with 6GB RAM/ 128GB of internal storage. Also, The smartphone runs on company’s custom ColorOS 11.1 skin on top of Google’s Android 11 OS. All this is back by a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support.

Regarding the camera system, the device features a 48-MP triple rear camera setup. These three camera compromises of a 48-MP primary sensor, a 2-MP depth sensor along with a 2-MP macro lens. Oppo A74 5G: Specifications

The 5G variant of Oppo A74 comes with a slightly larger display of 6.5-inches. But, this smartphones features a lower LCD display instead of AMOLED display which is available in Oppo A74 4G variant. However, this display comes with a higher refresh rate of 90Hz.Since this is a 5G variant, thus, it features a newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. This chipset comes with 5G network connectivity. The device gets 6GB RAM/ 128GB of internal storage.

Similar to 4G variant, the Oppo A74 5G runs on company’s custom Color OS 11.1 on top of Google’s Android 11 OS. Additionally, The smartphone is back by massive 5,000mAh battery along with a slower 18W fast charging support. Regarding camera system, the device features a 48-MP quad rear camera setup. These four camera includes a 48-MP primary sensor paired with an 8-MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2-MP depth sensor and a 2-MP macro lens. Also, For selfies, the smartphone comes with 16-MP selfie camera similar to it’s 4G sibling.
