Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 launches as the latest TWS earbuds from the company at the biggest Galaxy Unpacked Event. The all-new truly wireless earphones are designed as the successor to the Galaxy Buds. To recall, the Samsung Buds were launched couple of years back in February 2019. The latest Galaxy Buds 2 comes as an upgrade to the Galaxy Buds+ that was launched last year in 2020. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support. This is one of the major changes over its predecessor. Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant is also offering an upgraded design to the latest Galaxy Buds 2 and its case.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Price and Availability
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 price starts at USD 149.99 which is approximately Rs 11100. The South Korean tech giant is offering these pair of new Samsung wireless earbuds in four colour options. These colours include the Graphite, Lavender, Olive and White colours. The Samsung Galaxy Earbuds 2 will be up for sale in select market starting August 27. Meanwhile, the details about its India launch, and other price details are yet to be announce by the company.

To recall, Samsung launch the original Galaxy Buds at a starting price of USD 129 which is approximately Rs 9600 in the US markets. Later, the same earbuds were launched in India at a price tag of Rs 9990. In the US market, the Galaxy Buds+ comes with a price tag of USD 149.99 which is approximately Rs 11100. Later, the Galaxy Buds+ was showcase in India with a price tag of Rs 11990. This means that we can expect the all-new Galaxy Buds 2 to be price at under Rs 12000 in India.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 comes with two-way driver configuration. These includes a tweeter and a woofer. Additionally, the all-new TWS earphone features three microphones. Out of these three earphones, two earphones come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The South Korean tech giant has also offered AKG-tuned audio.
Design:
Meanwhile, the design of these earbuds is quite unique and different from the Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Buds+. Additionally, the charging case of Galaxy Buds 2 appears to be similar to the case of Galaxy Buds Live. These earbuds also get an IPX7 certification for splash and water resistance. Connectivity:
Regarding connectivity options, the Samsung Buds 2 comes with support for Bluetooth v5.2. These earbuds also get six different equaliser settings. These settings are accessible by connecting the earbuds with users’ smartphone. The all-new Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are claim to deliver a total of up to 29 hours of battery life. This battery life includes the battery of the charging case.
Battery:
With continuous playback on single charge, these TWS earbuds can offer up to 7.5 hours of battery life. When ANC is turn on, the battery life will drop by up to 20 hours. Each earbud of Galaxy Buds 2 comes with 61mAh battery. The charging case gets 472mAh battery. Samsung claims that with just five minutes of charging, a user can listen music for up to one hour.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 also comes with Qi wireless charging support. The latest Buds 2 earbuds comes with all necessary sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, hall sensor, touch sensor, and a voice pickup unit (VPU). Each of the latest bud measures 17×20.9×21.1mm and weighs five grams. Additionally, the charging case measures 50×27.8×50.2mm and weighs 41.2 grams.
