Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has been spotted on the company’s official site. Although, the expected launch of the device is going to happen in coming months. The listing of this Galaxy Ultra variant first appears on the Samsung’s China website. This listing on the official Samsung Chinese website shows the purported model number of the upcoming flagship handset. Moreover, recently this Galaxy S22 Ultra has also been spotted on the FCC website along with a S Pen. The listing reveals multiple details about the upcoming Galaxy smartphone. Although, the South Korean tech giant is yet to reveal any official details of the Galaxy S22 series smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra spotted:
The listing of the Ultra variant on the Samsung China website was first spotted on the tipster Snoopy. As per the reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with the model number SM-9808U. This model number corroborates with the previous reports. Although, the listing on the official website did not reveal any additional details about the upcoming Galaxy mobile phone. The tipster also claims that the production of Galaxy S22 series is in full swing mode.

As mentioned above, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was also tipped with an S Pen. This report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy smartphone series could launch at an event in the month of February next year. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 Ultra recently appears on FCC website by MySmartPrice. The listing on FCC reveals the connectivity specifications of the upcoming handset.

The report from MySmartPrice suggests that the upcoming smartphone could launch with multiband LTE. It will also get 5G, 5G NR and Wi-Fi 6 support. Moreover, the Ultra variant will also get the latest version of Bluetooth and NFC. Samsung Galaxy SEE Ultra could also support ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. Just like the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy S22 Ultra could also support wireless charging.

Besides the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung S Pen also appears on the FCC website with the model number EF-PS908. The Samsung S Pen reportedly comes with the model number EF-NS908. Samsung Galaxy S22 tipped on Geekbench:
Earlier in the month of December, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 appears on the Geekbench website. The device comes with the model number of SM-908U. In another report, a tipster suggests that the South Korean tech giant is planning to revive the Samsung Note series. The tech giant could bring the premium version of Samsung Galaxy S22 series. This suggests that the company could launch the Galaxy S22 Ultra as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Note.

According to recent reports, the leaked code of the Samsung Camera app hints that the Galaxy S22 Ultra variant could launch with “Digital Enhancer” feature. Beside this, the smartphone is likely to pack in a 40-megapixel selfie camera. A report from South Korean publication suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor. This primary sensor will offer a micro lens like functionality.

The report further suggests that this feature will be active only with dedicated 108-megapixel shooting mode. Moreover, at the time of launch this “Digital Enhancer” feature will also be exclusive to the Ultra variant only. However, the feature is likely to appear on other handsets using 108-megapixel camera via an OTA update. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra are the only handsets of current generation with 108-megapixel camera setup.

As for the Galaxy camera specifications, the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra could launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset for India. Whereas, the global variant of Galaxy S22 Ultra is likely to launch with Exynos 2200 chipset. The Ultra variant could also be accompanied by the S Pen. For the optics, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could feature a P-shaped rear camera setup. According to reports from Ice Universe, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a quad camera setup. Here, the 108-megapixel primary camera will come in pair with a 12-megapixel sensor. The other two sensor will be 10-megapixel sensor each.

The South Korean tech giant could launch the Galaxy S22 Ultra in two storage configurations. The base variant could feature 12GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The other variant will come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The all-new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could launch in three colour options including Black, Dark Red, White colours.
