Improved Camera over Xiaomi Mi MIX 3

One of the main features of the Mi MIX 4 is its impressive 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup. Xiaomi claims that this camera setup can capture stunning photos and videos. The 108-megapixel camera lens has a Samsung HMX sensor, which is a large and high-resolution sensor that can produce detailed and vivid images. The lens also has a wide aperture of f/1.95, which allows more light to enter and creates a shallow depth of field effect. The camera also supports optical image stabilization (OIS), which can reduce blur caused by hand movements or low-light conditions.

The 108-megapixel main camera pairs with two other cameras. There is a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a periscopic telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The telephoto lens can zoom up to 50x, which can bring distant objects closer and clearer. Additionally, the ultra-wide shooter on Mi MIX 3 successor can capture a wider field of view, which is ideal for landscapes or group shots.

The Mi MIX 4 has a unique feature for selfies and video chats: a 20-megapixel under-the-display camera sensor. This means that the camera is hidden under the screen. Henceforth, it does not create a notch or a hole-punch on the display.

  • Xiaomi CUP Technology

Xiaomi uses a special CUP technology, which stands for Camera Under Panel, to achieve this effect. Furthermore, the camera has a pixel density of 400ppi, which is the same as the display. This ensures that the camera area blends in with the rest of the screen and does not affect the colour, brightness or detail of the display. Meanwhile, Xiaomi claims that this technology allows the display to completely conceal the camera zone and provide a full-screen experience.

Connectivity

The Mi MIX 4 has a 4500mAh battery that can provide long-lasting usage. The battery also supports fast charging technologies, such as up to 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The latest Mi MIX is a smartphone that supports various connectivity options. These includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. These options allow the Mi MIX 3 successor to connect to different networks and devices easily.
