Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 15 series in China. The newly launched smartphone series gets the star models like the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ alongside the standard Redmi Note 15. The new Pro series brings major upgrades in performance, display technology, and durability. Here, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is Xiaomi’s mid-tier option in the Redmi Note 15 series between the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro+.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Series succeeds the Redmi Note 14 Pro Series. Although the Redmi Note 15 Pro shares some hardware with the Pro+ model, still the two also differ in several key areas. The Note 15 Series will be packing one of the largest batteries seen in the Redmi Note lineup. The new series packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the Note 15 Pro runs on the Dimensity 7400 Ultra. These Redmi phones carries a more rugged design in comparison to their predecessors, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+. Both handsets come with the IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The Redmi Note 15 Pro starts at CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs. 17,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant in China. The 12GB + 256GB variant of the Note 15 Pro is priced at CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 20,000), while the 12GB + 512GB model costs CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 22,000). For instance, Redmi Note 15 Pro shares the same 6.83-inch micro-curved OLED display as its Pro+ sibling. For optics, Redmi Note 15 Pro gets a triple rear camera unit. Redmi Note 15 Pro camera unit has a 50 MP primary camera based around the Sony LYT-600 sensor. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is a dual SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone. It is equipped with a 6.83-inch micro-curved display with a 1.5K resolution. This is the similar display specifications as the mid-tier variant. Furthermore, this screen panel offers a native output of 2,772 x 1,280 pixels resolution.
