Smartphone maker Tenco has finally unveiled its POVA 7 series in India. Tecno brings the latest Tecno POVA 7 5G and Tecno POVA 7 Pro 5G smartphones in India. Tecno Pova 7 5G series was launched last week in India. Both Phones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor.
Tecno Pova 7 Series in India
Tecno offers a “Delta Interface” along with massive 6,000mAh batteries on both 5G smartphones. The Delta light interface placed at the back, is the unique selling point of the phone. It works as a new multi-functional. Both of these smartphones are also equipped with Tecno’s Ella AI, which supports multiple Indian languages. Tecno Pova 7 Series Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, both the Pova 7 smartphones feature a plastic back panel with a futuristic cyberpunk-esque design. There is a white Mini LED strip surrounding the camera module. Tecno is calling this the “Delta Interface.” The brand claims that this strip of light can interact and light up in phases while gaming, changing device volume, during income calls, and more.
Display
On the front face, users will be greeted with a 6.78-inch 144 Hz display on both the 5G Pova phones. The vanilla variant, Tecno Pova 7 features a Full HD+ IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 7i Protection. This display offers a screen refresh rate of 144 Hz. Performance
Now coming to performance, under the hood, the Pova 7 series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. This chipset is paired with an 11-layer vapour chamber cooling system to maintain thermals. MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor is a 4nm chip that works in coordination with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.
The only difference in terms of performance is that the Pro variant supports 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. While, the vanilla model comes with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM. Tecno claims that this new operating system skin will increase multitasking efficiency, improve storage allocation, allow faster and smoother app launch, and more. This custom skin offers the Ella AI chatbot, which supports multiple Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and more. Battery
While on the topic of performance, let’s have a look at the Pova 7 series battery and charging capabilities. The Tecno Pova 7 5G series phones pack a 6,000mAh battery each with support for 45W wired fast charging. However, the Tecno Pova 7 Pro also supports 30W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging capabilities.
Camera
Moving to the optics, both Pova 7 Series devices come with a dual rear camera setup. There is also a third camera cutout, but it is added purely for cosmetic purposes. Tecno Pova 7 5G carries a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor and a Light sensor. The Pro model gets a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 main sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary sensor at the back.

Both devices share the same 13 MP centre punch-hole selfie shooter. Furthermore, there is a new Delta Light Interface. This unique interface sits at the back of the handsets around the rear camera modules. It include 104 mini LED lights that react to music, notifications, volume, and charging. Connectivity
Tecno claims that the Pova 7 5G series handsets are equipped with an intelligent signal optimisation system to improve connectivity in low-network and remote areas across India. The new design features an 86.5 percent antenna enclosure design and 4×4 MIMO support, enabling stronger signal reception, faster data speeds, and fewer blind spots.
There is also a new “no network communication” feature that uses Bluetooth to communicate with nearby devices in areas with a poor network. To recall, the Tecno Spark Go 2 was the first Tecno smartphone to feature this ability. The 5G phone series also includes VOWiFi Dual Pass, which allows users to receive call waiting alerts on SIM 2 while SIM 1 is active. Apart from this, the Tecno Pova 7 series also gets an official IP64 rating, Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 5G SIM support, NFC, stereo speakers and an IR blaster.

Tecno Pova 7 Series Price in India and Sale Date
The all-new Tecno Pova 7 Series includes the vanilla Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G smartphones in India. The Tecno Pova 7 starts at Rs 14,999. Meanwhile, the Pova 7 Pro will retail from Rs 18,999. Also Read: Twitter goes premium, Introduces new paid features
The base variant of Pova 7 5G starts at Rs. 12,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 13,999. The company said in a press release that these are limited-period prices that are inclusive of all bank offers. As for colours, the standard Pova 7 5G comes with the Geek Black, Magic Silver and Oasis Green options.
Meanwhile, the Tecno Pova 7 Pro 5G is available with a price tag of Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations, respectively. The Pova 7 Pro 5G also comes in the Geek Black option, but also adds the Dynamic Gray and Neon Cyan colorways.

Availability
Both phones are up for sale via Flipkart since July 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST. Interested buyers can also get a limited time discount of Rs 2,000 on the phones on select banks.
