A new company has entered the Indian smartphone market and is placing an enormous bet on artificial intelligence, the year’s buzzword. This company is the former Realme CEO Madhav Sheth’s latest venture, NxtQuantum. Ai+ is part of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies group. Now, Ai+ Smartphone, led by former Realme CEO Madhav Sheth, has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its first two smartphones, the Ai+ Pulse and Ai+ Nova 5G in India.
AI+ Pulse and Nova 5G smartphones debuted in India last week. These AI+ Series models are the latest budget smartphones to launch in India. AI+ Pulse and AI+ Nova 5G Phones with NxtQuantum OS
Both smartphones run on Android 15-based NxtQuantum operating system (OS). These devices not only mark the brand’s debut in India but also showcase the homegrown NxtQuantum OS, built entirely in India. Both smartphones offer an affordable Android 15 experience, featuring secure local data storage and advanced AI-powered features—making them top choices for budget-friendly Android phones in 2025.
The OS also features locally trained AI engines and promises no bloatware and unnecessary tracking for users. These devices feature powerful Unisoc T-series chipsets and offer expandable storage. The NxtQuantum phones are designed and built in India. The AI+ Pulse has a starting price of Rs 4,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. Whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant is available at Rs 6,999. Meanwhile, the AI+ Nova 5G comes at Rs 7,999 for the base variant with 6GB + 128GB configuration. The price tag is Rs 9,999 if you buy the 8GB + 128GB variant.

AI+ Pulse, AI+ Nova 5G: Specifications, features
The Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G both sport a 6.7-inch HD+ TFT IPS display. Major difference comes in screen refresh rate. Here, the AI+ Pulse offers 90 Hz screen refresh rate along with 450 nits of peak brightness. While, the AI+ Nova 5G smartphone brings 120 Hz screen refresh rate, offering smoother visuals. The Pulse delivers a pixel density of 260ppi, compared to 265ppi on the Nova 5G.
Performance
Under the hood, the Ai+ Pulse is powered by the Unisoc T615 processor, while the more advanced Ai+ Nova 5G uses the Unisoc T8200 chipset. Ai+ Pulse dials down to the 4G Unisoc T615 processor. This chipset is paired with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. While, the Nova 5G gets the more capable Unisoc T8200 chipset paired with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB.

They offer expandable storage support up to 1TB via microSD, and both handsets ship with NxtQuantum’s NxtQ OS. NxTQ OS is the name of the Android skin that the brand is offering over Android 15 version. It gets a privacy dashboard so that you can track which apps are accessing your data. Along with this, these budget smartphones own NxtQuantum PlayStore, NxtSafe Space, NxtQuantum Community App, Theme Design Tool, and the NxtMove App. It stores user data in MeitY-approved Google Cloud regions and follows a zero-trust security architecture. The company promises no bloatware and unnecessary tracking for users.

In terms of optics, the AI+ Pulse and AI+ Nova 5G smartphones come with AI-backed dual rear camera. The camera hardware is similar on both handsets, as the camera unit is led by 50-megapixel primary rear sensors. Furthermore, both phones have a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack (very rare these days), and USB Type-C.
