Xiaomi is ready to make announcement regarding the launch of it’s smart watch in India. The Chinese manufacturers entered the smartwatch business in the country with the launch of the Mi Watch Revolve at Rs 9.999. The company is likely to introduce a tone-down variant of the smart watch called Mi Watch Lite, which was formally released on global markets in December last year. Mukul Sharma, alias @stufflistings on twitter, has spot the Mi Watch Lite on India’s BIS certification website, which obviously indicates an imminent launch. The Lite version of Mi Watch comes in China for CNY 299 which calculates to around 3,400 INR approx.

Mi Watch Lite: Specifications
The smartwatch is likely to launch under budget segment in India at a price under Rs 5000. The smartwatch will clash with Realme Watch, Amazfit Bip U, and other smart watches in the budget categories. The Mi Watch Lite comes with a square shaped 1.4-inch LCD touch screen display. The smart watch is light in weight, weighs around 35g with a strap and 31g without a strap.
The display comes with a screen resolution of 320 x 320 pixels . It has a pixel density of 323ppi. This smart watch comes with additional support for features like a heart rate sensor and a sleep tracker. However, SpO2 sensor is likely to be absent to make it available at an affordable price, it doesn’t seem like a problem. The Mi Watch Lite comes in three different color options in China, including the watch cases and five strap colors. The available color options include Pink, Ivory, Black, Navy blue, and Olive.

Additionally, This Watch Lite is likely to come with pre-install multiple fitness modes and the ability to track the heart rate continuously. The Xiaomi’s smart watch offers upto 11 sports modes, including outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, walking, swimming, among others. This Watch can pair with the Mi Fit app to customize it with multiple watch faces. This smart watch is NFC-enabled. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
This smart watch comes with water resistance for upto 50 meters under water. Also, it has a heart rate sensor that can provide 24-hour heart monitoring as well as a 30-day user resting heart rate report. Xiaomi’s Watch Lite comes with an ability to track sleep, and also offers suggestions for breathing exercises. The company claims that this watch can offer a 9-day battery life for typical use. The 230mAh battery can be charge fully within 2 hours.

Additionally, the watch can be used to take or reject phone calls, control audio, reply messages, and check more smartphone notifications via the Watch Lite controls. Based on Chinese pricing (CNY 269), it is likely to be price under Rs 5,000. It is likely to be price in between Rs 3,000 and Rs 3,500.
According to rumors, Xiaomi’s Watch Lite will launch in India alongside Redmi Note 10 series, which will arrive in February.
