Few days back, Amazon India accidently reveal the nomenclature of the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone. The upcoming OnePlus Nord phone will launch with the name of OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The Chinese brand also confirm the launch date for the same. The company has confirmed to several media houses that the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5G phone will be launching on June 10 at the OnePlus Summer Launch Event. The brand also confirms that the 5G smartphone will launch alongside new OnePlus TVs and TWS earbuds. The device is expected to be the most affordable OnePlus smartphone ever sold in India. In addition to this, Amazon India has also added a “Notify Page” with some other details of this upcoming smartphone. So far, Both Amazon and the Chinese brand has teased about the gradient color option for this upcoming Nord CE 5G phone.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G launch date revealed:
According to reports, the OnePlus Nord CE is the only phone that will be launching under the OnePlus Nord series this year in India. The report confirms that the rumored Nord 2 phone is likely to skip the India launch. There is one more rumored smartphone that is likely to launch under Nord branding. The smartphone will be called as OnePlus Nord N200 5G. This device will be launching in some other month or may be even early next year.

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau has also confirm that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will succeed the original Nord phone. In this new Nord phone, The CE stands for Core Edition. Additionally, he further stated that the Nord CE phone will have all the important core elements of the original Nord phone. The smartphone will also carry few extra features. Beside OnePlus Nord CE 5G, he also confirm that OnePlus Nord N200 will be exclusive to US and Canada markets only.

Regarding specifications of OnePlus Nord CE 5G phone, the rumors suggest that the latest smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series processors. The processor is most likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 SoC. The device will feature a 6.4-inch display along with at least 6GB of RAM. The display will come with 120Hz of refresh rate. As for the camera configuration, the OnePlus Nord CE phone will feature either 48-MP/ 64-MP quad rear camera setup. And of course, the device will run on Oxygen OS 11 which will be based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
On the other hand, OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau states that Nord CE will mainly focusing on delivering the core excellent features that are most needed in a device. OnePlus Nord N200 5G details:
To recall, the company launched OnePlus Nord N100 in US last year. But the smartphone did not come with 5G connectivity. Lau also confirm that the OnePlus N200 5G will succeed the OnePlus N100 smartphone with 5G capabilities. This will further improve the user experience at even more accessible price point. The upcoming OnePlus Nord phone will compete against the likes of other affordable 5G phone such as Moto G 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10i, Realme X7 Max and many more.
