Samsung Galaxy F22, the next budget phone launched in India: Price, Features and Specs

Samsung Galaxy F22 comes as another budget smartphone by the South Korean smartphone company. The device will take on the likes of the Redmi Note 10, Realme 8 5G and others.

Samsung has officially launched yet another budget centric smartphone in India. The all-new phone comes under the Samsung Galaxy F Series with the name of Galaxy F22. The Samsung Galaxy F22 mobile price falls under Rs 15000 in India. The all-new smartphone will compete against the likes of the Realme 8 5G, the Realme Narzo 30 5G, the Poco M3 Pro 5G and even the Samsung Galaxy M32. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy M32 is the most recent launches from the brand itself.

Samsung Galaxy F22 Features:

As revealed previously, the all-new Samsung phone supports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED HD+ display. The device comes with old style water drop notch. Along with the HD+ Display, the device gets a 90Hz screen refresh rate. This could be liked by many Samsung users. Meanwhile, the Galaxy F22 gets its raw power from the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The same chipset is already present on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A22. Additionally, the all-new Galaxy phone comes with two RAM/ Storage options. These options include a 4GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage and a 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

For the camera configuration, the all-new Samsung Galaxy F22 comes with quad rear camera system which are arranged inside a square shaped camera module. The device gets a 48-MP main camera sensor. This 48-MP main camera sensor is accompanied by an 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-MP macro lens and a 2-MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, this could be pretty much same to what we have seen on the Samsung Galaxy A22. For selfies, the front camera gets a 13-MP shooter. The smartphone also gets various camera centric features such as the Portrait mode, the Night mode and much more.

The Samsung Galaxy F22 is backed by a bigger 6000mAh battery along with the standard 15W fast charging support system. The device runs on the Samsung One UI 3.1 which will be based on the Android 11 operating system. For security, the device also gets AI Face Unlock mechanism. Additionally, it also comes with side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is placed under the power button. The Galaxy F series phone comes with support for Samsung Pay Mini. Regarding connectivity options, the smartphone gets a stack of various connectivity options. These option includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, USB Type-C port, GPS, NFC, dual-SIM card support, FM Radio, and more. Meanwhile, Samsung offers this device in two colour options including Demin Black and Demin Blue colours.

As mentioned above, the all-new Samsung Galaxy F22 comes with a starting price of Rs 12499. The base variant of Samsung Galaxy F22 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage for a price of Rs 12499. As an introductory offer, both variants get an additional discount of Rs 1000 each. Therefore, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of Galaxy F22 comes with a price tag of Rs 114999. Whereas, the 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage variant gets a price tag of Rs 13499. Keep in mind, these prices are applicable on prepaid transactions only. The first sale for Samsung Galaxy F22 starts on July 13. Additionally, the device will up from grab via Flipkart, Samsung Online Store and other offline retail stores.
