Google has now officially announced that it will be making Workspace access available for all. It will also be available for the free Google account owners. From this previous Monday onwards, users can enable the integrated experience in Google Workspace. This can be access by turning on the Google Chat in Gmail. Beside the Workspace integration, Google also announced some of the new innovations. These will address the specific challenges and opportunities in the hybrid work environment. The tech giant has also launched a new subscription offer for the users. This offer will be called the “Workspace Individual”.
What is Workspace Individual?
The Workspace Individual offer will help the business owners in growing, running and protecting their business. This Individual service provide users with multiple premium capabilities. These capabilities include smart booking services, professional video meetings and personalized email marketing and much more. Now, the Google Workspace is available for all. With this announcement, Google states that the users can now easily manage their personal and professional accounts from a single place.

Google Workspace Rollout:
Additionally, they will also have access to Google support to get the most out of their solution. The all-new Workspace Individual will soon start rolling out in in global markets. These countries include the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Brazil and Japan. During the official announcement, the VP and GM, Google Workspace states that with the launch of Google Workspace for everyone. The company aims to deliver consumers, workers, teachers and students with an equitable approach to collaborate. This can be achieved by still providing the flexibility that allows these different subsets of users to take their own approach to communication and collaboration.
Other Google Features:
Other than Google Workspace, the company also introduced Spaces for the Rooms experience in Google Chat. This feature will have a dedicated place for organizing people, topics and projects in Workspace. Additionally, the Spaces will integrate with files and tasks. The new Companion Mode will also be available on the web and Google Meet’s upcoming progressive web app in September.
The hybrid meting features will soon be landing on the Google Meet. This feature will allow attendees to RSVP with their join location. It means that this will indicate whether they will be joining the meeting room or remotely. Additionally, Google has also confirmed that they will be introducing key moderation controls. These controls will be access by the hosts of the Google Meet meeting. This will allow host with the abilities to prevent the use of in-meeting chat and prohibit during meetings.
