Better Camera on iPhone 14 Pro models
As for now, the launch of the iPhone 14 series is far away. But the leaks and rumours about the iPhone 14 series keeps on popping up from time to time. These days we are hearing a lot of rumours about the pill-shaped cutout on the front of iPhone 14 series. Furthermore, it has been under speculations that the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro models will feature 48-megapixel camera sensors instead of 12-megapixel cameras. If this speculation comes true, then it will be a huge upgrade over the previous generation Pro models in terms of cameras.
In another report from Taiwanese research firm TrendForce suggests that iPhone 14 Pro models could launch with 48-megapixel primary camera. The report from TrendForce mentions that, “A 48-million-pixel primary camera is expected to be introduced to the iPhone 14 Pro series (tentative name) that Apple will release this year, further reducing 12-million-pixel products to a 15% share in 2022”.
8K Video recording on iPhone 14 Pro models (rumour)
Keep in mind, this is not the first time when the rumours about the iPhone 14 series have been spotted online. Previously also Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Pro models would feature a 48-megapixel sensor. He further predicts that the camera would also support 8K video recording. Furthermore, only the top-end model will feature 48-megapixel cameras. However, the base models will stick to the standard 12-megapixel camera.
In another report, the Cupertino based tech giant is planning to cut the number of iPhones. The report further suggests that the tech giant will unveil four new iPhone models. The upcoming iPhone models could launch in different sizes. These may include a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.6-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Furthermore, these iPhone models could launch in second half of 2022. Keep in mind, the Pro and the Pro Max models could launch with 48-megapixel cameras.
Apple iPhone 14 series: Specifications (Expected)
The next generation iPhone 14 will be powered by Apple’s new A16 Bionic chipset. Furthermore, the report also suggests that the new processor will be based on a 4nm fabrication process. On the other hand, a report from TheElec suggest that the iPhone 14 Pro models could launch with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. This will be a step-up from 6GB of RAM on the Pro models.
