The current iPhone 12 models have a 12-MP main rear camera sensor. The 48-MP camera sensor will be a huge improvement for the iPhone 14 models. The report also compares the iPhone 14 camera with the Android phones that have 108-MP main camera sensors.

Ming-Chi Kuo also reveals some of the new features that will come with the iPhone 14 2022 models. He says that the iPhone 14 will support 8K video recording for all the handsets. This is a feature that premium Android phones have had since 2020.




The Android phones that have Snapdragon 865 or newer chips can record 8K videos. Another report says that Apple will delay the Periscopic Zoom camera feature until 2023. Apple is also working on a hidden Face ID system that will reduce the notch size on the display.

Mini variant to exit in 2022

Apple will stop making the Mini version of the iPhone 14 in 2022. The Mini model has low demand and popularity among customers worldwide. The iPhone 12 Mini did not sell well and most customers preferred the standard iPhone 12 model.
