Vivo X70 series expected to arrive soon, hints at new specs

Vivo recently launches the Vivo X60 series in India, which includes the X60, the X60 Pro, and the X60 Pro+. The company is planning to bring its successor, Vivo X70.

Vivo recently launched its Vivo X60 series globally. Now, the Chinese smartphone makers are all set to introduce it’s successor. The upcoming smartphone lineup is likely to be named as Vivo X70 series. Also, The rumors and leaks about this upcoming X70 series has started featuring the rumor mills. The latest leak gives us a hint about the possible launch time and specs of the upcoming smartphone. This leak came right after the introduction of Vivo X60 series in India.

Vivo X70 Series launching soon

Similar to Vivo X60 Series, the upcoming Vivo X70 lineup is likely to feature three smartphones. These smartphones may include the Vivo X70, the X70 Pro and the X70 Pro+. All these leaks are revealed by a tipster named Bald Panda on Chinese micro-blogging website, Weibo. Also, The tipster reveals that the Vivo X70 Series is likely to get some upgrades over it’s predecessor. The device is likely to get a bigger battery of 4500mAh capacity. To recall, the recently launched Vivo X60 Series comes with maximum of 4300mAh battery on Vivo X60 Smartphone. Additionally, The other two smartphones Vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Pro Plus gets a smaller battery of 4200mAh each respectively.

Vivo X70 Series leaks

The tipster also reveals that these devices are likely to Samsung E4 Display. These devices are likely to come with higher refresh rate and bigger main camera sensor made by ZEISS. This series is also likely to get a support of 66W fast charging system. To recall, the highest seen in Vivo X60 Series was of 55W fast charging on Vivo X60 Pro+. The leaks also reveals that the eldest member in Vivo X70 series which will be Vivo X70 Pro+, is likely to be to powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, just like it’s predecessor Vivo X60 Pro+. As per reports, the Vivo X70 series is likely to launch in June. Following the foot steps of it’s predecessor, the Vivo X70 Series is most likely to launch in China first, followed by the Indian launch.

Vivo X60 Series: The Predecessor

The predecessor to Vivo X70 Series launched couple of weeks back in India. The Vivo X60 smartphone series in now currently available in India featuring all the Vivo X60, the X60 Pro and the X60 Pro+ smartphones. Both Vivo X60 and X60 Pro features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display which comes with 120Hz refresh rate. These smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This chipset on Vivo X60 comes paired with 8GB RAM/ 128GB of internal storage. Whereas, on Vivo X60 Pro+, the chipset is coupled with upto 12GB RAM/ 256GB of internal storage.

Regarding camera system, both the device features a triple rear camera setup. Also, These cameras include a 48-MP main camera sensor, a 13-MP secondary camera sensor and a 13-MP third lens. For selfies, it comes with 32-MP front camera lens. The Vivo X60 is back by a 4300mAh battery along with 33W fast charging system. Whereas, the Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with a smaller 4200mAh battery. The pricing for these smartphones starts at Rs 37,990 and Rs 49,990 respectively. It is likely that smartphones under Vivo X70 Series are likely to fall under similar price bracket. Vivo X60 Pro+: Premium Smartphone

Meanwhile, The premium Vivo X60 Pro+ gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The device features a 6.56-inch of AMOLED display which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with upto 12GB RAM/ 256 of internal storage. Regarding cameras, the device features a quad-rear camera setup which includes a 50-MP main camera, 48-MP ultra-wide lens, 32-MP portrait lens, and an 8-MP periscopic lens. For selfies, the device comes with a 32-MP front shooter. Also, The Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with a smaller 4200mAh battery along with 55W fast charging support. For security, the device gets an in-display fingerprint scanner. Regarding it’s price, the device comes with a price tag of Rs 69,990.
