These days Xiaomi is very serious about it’s software and security updates. Xiaomi is working hard on releasing MIUI 12 update. To recall, this MIUI 12 update is based on Android 11 for some MI, Redmi and Poco smartphones. The Chinese brand is also expected to release updates for these sub brands in coming days. MIUI 12 Update on Android 11 for Xiaomi Devices:
Previously. smartphones like Xiaomi Mi 10 and Redmi Note 9 have already received their MIUI 12 update which is based on Android 11 OS. Meanwhile, the update is likely to land on other devices in coming days. To recall, MIUI 12 update based on Android 11 was first released in December 2020. However, later the rollout was paused due to large number of bugs reported in MIUI version.
But, later the smartphone manufacturers rolled out MIUI 12’s beta version for several devices. These devices includes Redmi K30, Poco F2 Pro, the Mi 9 Series. To recall, the Beta update for Redmi K30 Series, the Mi Note 10 Lite and the Mi A3 was roll out in January 2021. Later in February, MIUI 12 Beta for Xiaomi Mi 10T, the Poco X3 with NFC and the Mi 10T Pro was release. The company first released the beta update to fix all the bugs before releasing the final version of the update. Recently, the Chinese smartphone makers have hosted a launch event for the launch of it’s next generation smartphones. At this launch event, the company launches it’s new smartphones under Mi 11 series. However, the company did not showcase it’s Mi MIX smartphone, which is likely to be next generation foldable smartphone.

The list is long. Beside these listed smartphones, there are several other Xiaomi devices that are yet to receive their quota of MIUI 12 update which is based on Android 11. These other devices are also likely to receive their update within this year.
