According to reports from PhoneArena, Developer Ryan Jones suggests that the Apple is scheduled to host an event on the last day of this year’s WWDC event. In this session, the tech giant is likely to discuss about the App Optimization feature for the platform. This may launch as support for the variable refresh rate displays. The report thus confirms about the feature for the upcoming iPhone 13. Based on the leaks, it is likely that Apple will be hosting a dedicated event for all the app developers. In this event, the tech giant will be discussing about the future technology. According to reports, this technology will be making its entry for the first time on this year’s iPhone series.

To recall, this year’s iPhone 13 Pro models are likely to launch with a 120Hz ProMotion screen. This display will be based on the LTPO technology. This will change the refresh rate based on the display content. Thus, allowing display to consume lesser battery. According to previous rumors, the display is most likely to be manufacture by Samsung. To recall, this same display is also present on the Samsung Galaxy S21 devices. However, this is not confirmed for Apple to make official announcement. It is possible that Apple might just talk about this future technology.

Beside the addition of variable refresh rate, the upcoming iPhone series is likely to launch with a set of improved cameras. The camera system on upcoming iPhone models will also feature better zooming capabilities. The upcoming iPhone models could also get the sensor-shift stabilization and many other camera features. To recall, the upcoming iPhone series will include four models. These models are the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 13 Mini.

The latest iPhone series devices could also launch with a combination of Touch ID and the Face ID. The Touch ID could appear in form of an in-display fingerprint scanner. Whereas, the Face ID feature will work as usual with the front camera for unlocking the smartphone. Other features on upcoming iPhone series may also include a smaller notch, bigger rear camera module, new color options, 5G connectivity, bigger batteries and much more. The latest iPhone series will be launching in the month of September.
