As per the reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 13 is expected to feature an upgraded version of the ultrawide lens, which will significantly enhance low-light photography. This improved ultrawide lens will incorporate a variable aperture of f/1.8, surpassing the f/2.4 aperture of the ultrawide lens found in the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.

Consequently, the iPhone 13 will benefit from a larger aperture on its ultra-wide lens, allowing more light to pass through. This improvement significantly enhances iPhone low light photography on the new models, a feature that users are eagerly looking forward to experiencing. However, it should be noted that this feature is expected to be exclusive to the iPhone 13 Pro models. The other models of the iPhone 13 (potentially the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini) may not have this feature. It is possible that this feature will be introduced across all iPhone versions starting from 2022.
