Oppo has been releasing new phones at a faster pace this year compared to previous years. Earlier this year in January, the Chinese smartphone makers launched the Oppo Reno 5 series, which was expected to be the company’s main release for the year. However, the Chinese smartphone maker had other plans and recently launched its Reno 6 series in China. The Oppo Reno 6 series consists of three different models: the Reno 6 5G, Reno Pro 5G, and Reno 6 Pro+ 5G, each with its own set of specifications and price points. With the Reno 6 series, Oppo aims to compete in the mid-range smartphone market.
Reports suggest that the vanilla variant of the Reno 6 features a design theme similar to that of the iPhone 12, with flat edges and a flat display. All models in the Oppo Reno 6 series are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors, while the display on all models is limited to 90Hz AMOLED panels. As of now, the company has not provided any information on the global availability of the successor to Oppo Reno 5 Series smartphones.
Oppo Reno 6 Price
The OppoReno 6 is the standard variant in the Reno 6 series, with a starting price of CNY 2799 (approximately Rs. 32000) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. The higher-end model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 3199. Currently, the smartphone is only available for purchase in the Chinese smartphone market.

Meanwhile, The Oppo Reno 6 phone is power by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip.
The Reno 6 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a flat design.
It has a 64-MP triple rear camera system that includes an 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-MP macro camera. The front-facing camera is a 32-MP selfie shooter.
The device also packs a 4300mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. Meanwhile, the device runs on Oppo’s custom ColorOS 11.3. This Oppo ColorOS skin is based on the Android 11 OS.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G and Reno 6 Pro+ 5G
The Pro models in the Oppo Reno 6 series comes with a curved edge display system. Both the Pro models feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with 90Hz refresh rate.
The Pro series smartphone packs in a 4500mAh capacity batteries along with 65W fast charge solution. Additionally, These device runs on ColorOS 11.3 which is based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
The main difference comes in camera and chipset department for both the Pro models. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is power by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Whereas, the Reno 6 Pro+ relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. This time the Reno 6 series skip on the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
For the camera configuration, the all new Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G features a 64-MP quad rear camera system. The 64-MP primary sensor pairs with an 8-MP ultra wide camera along with two 2-MP sensor where one is macro lens and other features a depth camera. On the other hand, the Reno 6 Pro+ gets a better 50-MP Sony IMX766 sensor. The 50-MP main camera sensor is accompanied by a 16-MP ultra wide camera. The secondary camera is a 13-MP telephoto lens followed by a 2-MP depth sensor.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ Price
As for the pricing, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro price starts at CNY 3499 which is approximately Rs 40000. Both the Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ features two variants of 8GB RAM/ 128GB of storage and 12GB RAM/ 256GB of storage. The Reno 6 Pro+ price starts at CNY 3999 which is approximately Rs 45500.
