Poco launched Poco M3 in global markets back in November, 2020. Beginning this year, the company started teasing about it’s India launch. The company has already started teasing the launch of smartphone. According to teasers, the smartphone will be sold online via Flipkart.
The Chinese smartphone makers recently share a video teaser which confirms the launch of the Poco M3 in February, 2021. Poco M3 is set to launch on 2nd February in India. This news is confirmed by the company’s spokesperson. The company has decided to hold an online event at 12PM to bring the phone to the Indian market and to reveal the pricing and sales information. Beside the launch date, Poco M3 will be sold online via Flipkart. The smartphone packs in a bigger 6,000mAh battery pack.

Poco M3 launched last year in global markets. Thus, we have a good understanding of what all the smartphones come with. The device comes with a rectangular module at the top left corner of the rear panel which houses the vertical triple rear camera setup along with a LED flash and the ‘Poco’ branding.
It comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display (1.080×2.340 pixels) and runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 UI for Poco on top. The device is likely to work on Snapdragon 662 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU, coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. There are two storage options with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage on board. Users can also expand this storage further by using a microSD card (up to 512GB). However, it is still unknown about how many variants will be coming to India.
The Poco M3 features a triple-rear camera setup at the back. These triple camera includes a 48-MP primary camera, a 2-MP macro lens, and a 2-MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device comes with an 8-MP front snapper.
The smartphone will get its power from a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. For security, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock feature. The Global variant of M3 comes in three color options, these color includes Yellow, Cool Blue and Power Black. However, there is no info regarding the color availability in India.
Pricing:
For Pricing, there is no official statement yet share by the company. In International market, The Global variant starts at a price of about $149 which is approximately Rs 11,000. This device will settle under Rs 15,000 and will be a budget category smartphone.
