Samsung Galaxy M33 5G officially debuts in India as the latest model under the Galaxy M Series. The new Samsung mobile phone comes with a 5nm octa-core Exynos processor, and it gets a 120Hz refresh rate display. The South Korean tech giant is offering up to 8GB of RAM and a max of 128GB of onboard storage on this smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy M Series phone carries a quad rear camera unit featuring a 50MP primary sensor. The all-new Galaxy M33 5G smartphone joins the Samsung Galaxy M30 series featuring the Galaxy M30, Galaxy M31, and the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G smartphones.

This Samsung smartphone comes preloaded with a list of camera modes, including an object erase feature, a bokeh mode, and more. Furthermore, this Samsung 5G phone also offers a voice focus feature. This feature, according to Samsung, could remove background noise. Like the older Galaxy M Series phones, the all-new Samsung Galaxy M33 5G also features a massive 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

As mentioned above, the all-new Galaxy phone will succeed the Samsung Galaxy M32 in India which comes with a starting price tag of Rs 12999.

Meanwhile, Samsung offers these Galaxy M Series phones with an introductory offer. In this introductory offer, both the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G variants come with Rs 17999 and Rs 19999, respectively. However, no information about how long this introductory offer will last. Other details are available on Samsung website India.



  • Availability

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G phone comes in two colorways in India, including green and blue shades. The Samsung device is available for purchase in India via Amazon and Samsung India online stores. Interested customers can purchase their mobile units by availing discounts on their bank cards. As for the launch offers, the Samsung M33 5G comes with up to Rs 2000 instant cashback for the customers purchasing with ICICI Bank cards. The Samsung smartphone will also be available with no-cost EMI options and exchange discounts.

Samsung also offers the RAM Plus feature on this Galaxy M Series smartphone. With this Samsung RAM Plus feature, the Galaxy M33 5G RAM can be virtually extended by up to 16GB. The RAM can expand by using the inbuilt storage within the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G gets a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture in terms of optics. The secondary camera is a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field-of-view (FoV), which also gets an f/2.4 aperture. The third and fourth lenses are 2MP macro and depth sensors with an f/2.2 aperture.

Moreover, the price of the new Galaxy M Series device is more than the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G in India.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G is a mid-range smartphone. The box packaging includes a mobile unit with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage for in-box contents. For other contents, the box packaging consists of a SIM Ejector tool, some documentation, a Quick Start Guide, and a Samsung USB Type C fast charging Cable. Keep in mind that Samsung has started removing chargers even from its mid-range phones with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy F42. Hence, the South Korean tech giant does not offer any Samsung type c charger within the box.



  • Standard Plastic Design

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G comes with a plastic frame. The smartphone’s rear side gets a glossy finish that will easily attract fingerprints. The Galaxy M33 5G gets an Infinity-V display. This Samsung display gets the Infinity-V Notch on the top, accommodating an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Furthermore, the earpiece grille is present on the top edge above this camera hole. The Galaxy phone also gets a proximity sensor. However, the Galaxy M33 5G misses the important ambient light sensor. This Galaxy phone will use the front camera for auto-brightness for brightness adjustment. The chin below the screen is small in size.

The power button, which also serves as a fingerprint scanner, is located on the right edge of the Galaxy smartphone. The volume rockers accompany this power button on the right edge. The dedicated dual SIM + microSD card slot is present on the left edge. The 3.5mm headphone jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille are present on the bottom edge, and the secondary microphone also adjusts on the top edge.

In terms of gaming performance, the performance is not up to the mark compared with the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, which comes with a Snapdragon 778G processor.

  • One UI 4 on Galaxy M33 5G

Samsung Galaxy M33 runs on the latest Google Android 12 with One UI 4. During the launch event, Samsung also promised to provide 2 OS updates and four years of security updates for the phone. Additionally, Samsung has integrated sport for Samsung Pay with NFC, Knox security, and Secure folder features. This Samsung mobile phone also gets support for 12 5G bands. The Galaxy phone lacks stereo speakers. However, it does get Dolby Atmos support. Remember that Dolby Atmos will only operate when a wired or wireless earphone connects to the device.



  • 50MP quad rear cameras

A 50MP primary sensor headlines the quad rear camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G. The primary camera can click some decent photos in daylight situations. The secondary camera is a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The rear camera also supports up to 4K 30fps recording. At the same time, the front camera restricts to Full-HD video recording at 30FPS.

  • Massive 6000mAh battery

The South Korean tech giant offers a massive 6000mAh battery on the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G. Samsung claims that this battery can last you for two full working days. Moreover, the phone supports 25W fast charging, but the company does not provide the charger within the box. It also gets reverse charging support for other phones.
