Vivo launches its all-new Y Series smartphone in Thailand. The latest phone comes with the name of Vivo Y12A. This Vivo smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. To recall, the Chinese smartphone makers have already launched the Vivo Y12s in India, back in January. Meanwhile, the latest offering from the Chinese brand comes with slight modifications over the Vivo Y12s. Some of the key highlights of this Vivo smartphone includes a 6.5-inch HD+ Display, a 5000mAh battery. The device also gets a 13-MP dual rear camera setup.

The all-new Vivo Y12A comes with a 6.5-inch display. This display comes with HD+ IPS LCD screen with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. Additionally, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. This chipset comes in pair with an Adreno 505 GPU. The device also comes with 3GB RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. The all-new Vivo smartphone comes with expandable storage option. Hence, the internal storage can be expanded by a microSD card.
The latest Vivo Y12A runs on Google’s Android 11 OS along with company’s own FunTouch OS 11 skin. All of this is back by a 5000mAh battery along with standard charge support. The company also claims that this battery can provide a HD movie playback time for up to 16 hours. For security, the device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also gets support for facial recognition via the front camera.
For photography, the Vivo Y12A phone comes with a 13-MP dual rear camera setup. The 13-MP primary camera comes in pair with a 2-MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the front camera also features an 8-MP selfie camera inside the waterdrop-style notch. For connectivity options, the device comes with all necessary connectivity ports. The latest offering from Vivo comes as a budget segment smartphone. The all-new Vivo Y12A price starts at THB 4499 which is approximately Rs 10550. The company is offering a sole variant for this Vivo phone. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes in two color options including blue and green colors. The latest Vivo smartphone is available on all the Vivo-branded shops and dealers in Thailand. The smartphone is also available for sale via the online retailer Lazada’s official website. Some reports suggests that the smartphone could launch in India in coming months.
