Vivo Y73 2021 launched in India, to compete against Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

The Vivo Y73 officially launches in India as the next mid-range offering from the company. The smartphone comes with improved design and better camera performance.

After launching premium smartphones in Indian markets Vivo has now launched an affordable mid-range segment device with the name of Vivo Y73 2021 in India. The smartphone comes as the company’s latest offering under Rs 25000. This latest Vivo phone is aimed to target the youth, who are looking for a good-looking smartphone. The all new Vivo Y73 comes in a sole variant in India with two color options to choose from. The smartphone is up for grab starting June 12.




Currently, Vivo has launched only single storage option for Vivo Y73 2021. The device comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Vivo Y73 price starts at Rs 20999. The Chinese brand is offering this phone in two color options including Diamond Flare and Roman Black. Both options come with different gradient style. Customers can buy this Vivo Y73 from Flipkart, Amazon, vivo store and other retail partners.

Vivo Y73 2021 launches in India:

The all new Vivo Y73 2021 borrow lot of its features and specs from the previously launched the Vivo X60 series. The device gets a similar rectangular camera module along with same overall design theme. This year Vivo Y series launches with gradient finishing. The smartphone uses a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with waterdrop style notch. The notch is positioned at the top for holding the front camera. Additionally, this display supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

Hardware:

As for the hardware specifications, the all new Vivo Y73 2021 relies on the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The same chipset is already powering the previously launched the Redmi Note 10S. To provide improved performance, Vivo Y73 offers same software which is already seen on the Vivo V21 and the X60 series. Just like X60 series, the Vivo Y73 gets an extended RAM feature. The Vivo Y73 gets an extra 3GB RAM via the extended RAM feature. This feature allots a part of the main storage to RAM for multitasking needs. Camera:

Vivo Y73 2021 also gets an ability to expand the storage to 1TB via a microSD card. The device runs on FunTouch OS 11.1 which is based on Android 11 out of the box. For camera configuration, the smartphone features a 64-MP rear camera setup. The 64-MP main camera sensor is accompanied by a 2-MP macro lens and a 2-MP depth sensor. The smartphone packs in a 4000mAh battery along with 33W fast charging solution. Important connectivity options such as 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type C port is also available in this Y73 phone. Based on the pricing, the all new Vivo Y73 will compete directly against the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Xiaomi Mi 10i, Realme X7 5G and the Moto G 5G.
