Asus is working hard on next generation ROG Phone 5, which will launch globally in a few months. Asus has already confirm that next generation ROG Phone with Snapdragon 888 chipset to launch at Summit in December 2020. Later in January this year, the company teased the handset itself. Based on teaser, the next-generation ROG Phone will be sporting an improved display design.
However, the name of the next flagship device has not been revealed yet. But the device is likely to be ROG Phone 5. It is going to succeed ROG Phone 3 from last year. The device has been listed on multiple certification websites including MIIT and TENAA. These listings provide us a decent look at the planned smartphone specs.

ROG Phone 5: TENAA
According to listing images, the device appeared on TENAA with model number ASUS I005DA. This listing confirms that the device is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The device is 172.834 x 77.252 x 10.29 mm in dimensions, which would be thicker than ROG Phone 3, if real. It features a 64-MP triple-camera setup mount on the back and a super-fast charging solution.
Same specifications have been earlier caught on websites like Geekbench and the 3C certification website. The image shows a lighting setup in the dot matrix on the back and the triple-camera setup horizontally aligned. This dot-matrix on the rear is likely to support the Aura Lighting. On the front, inside a small bezel, one selfie camera can be seen.
ROG Phone 5: MIIT
According to MIIT listings, The Asus ROG Phone 5 is likely to come with a 6.78-inch display, and runs Google’s Android 11. A battery of 6,000mAh would power this device which will be charge by a 65W super fast charging solution. This 6000mAh battery will be compose of two 3,000mAh batteries. According to previous reports, Asus ROG Phone is likely to offer up to 144Hz refresh rate display.

On a closer look, the dual-front firing speakers, the punch-hole display and a selfie-camera on the top right are visible at the front. On the left we got a sim tray which’s presumably dual-SIM. The power and volume keys are present on right side.
