MIUI 12.5: Ability to uninstall system apps
For some time, users have been asking Xiaomi to uninstall system applications that are not required in their forums. They have been heard by the company, thus, allowing users to uninstall most device applications with MIUI 12.5. In a blog post, they told that while most device apps can be uninstalled, some uninstallable applications can be hidden.
MIUI 12.5: Location approximation
To ensure user privacy, MIUI 12.5 provides a location approximation to inform applications of your approximate location and not your exact location. Thus, you’re not going to follow the apps.
MIUI 12.5: Photo to PDF

MIUI 12.5: Other features
Other new features include new fingerprint animations, bubble notification support. Additional features are super resolution, voice control, new QR code interface, new icon styles and more.
