The score proves that the device can handle high-pressure tasks with ease.
Keep in mind, these numbers are not indicative of the real-world performance. Moto Edge 30 Pro: Camera
Motorola is offering a toned-down camera when compare with the last year’s Edge 20 Pro. To recall, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro comes with a primary, ultra-wide and periscope telephoto lens. While, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro gets the depth sensor instead of the telephoto camera which is more of a downgrade.

Furthermore, the camera can easily identify the different textures and details. The image looks more vibrant without any major editing involved. In terms of stabilization, the Motorola camera is offering good stabilization. The camera app can click pictures without any shutter lag.
Ultra-wide camera/ Macro Camera
The ultra-wide camera can also produce some decent pictures with wide Field-of-view. However, these pictures miss on the premium-ness. Moto Edge 30 Pro 5G: Battery Life
The all-new Motorola Edge 30 Pro gets a bigger battery. It gets a bump of 300mAh in battery capacity over the last year’s Edge 20 Pro. Based on our usage, the battery can easily last for around a day with normal usage. Our normal usage includes some light browsing on web and social media for 1-2 hours/day, sending messages on WhatsApp, clicking some pictures and watching YouTube videos.
However, with heavy usage, in things like gaming and other intensive tasks like video editing, the battery will fall more substantially. In case of charging, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will take around 45 minutes for full charge from 0 to 100 percent. This is possible by using the proprietary 68W fast charging Motorola Adapter. Also Read – OnePlus Watch series India launch could happen soon
Final Verdict
The all-new Moto Edge 30 Pro 5G is the great successor to the Edge 20 Pro. It is one of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone. The main camera on the smartphone does an excellent job. The ultra-wide camera also looks decent. However, missing Telephoto lens does makes a negative effect. With presence of Telephoto lens, the device would be an excellent pick for the mobile photography lovers.
The design of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro isn’t that changed compared to its predecessor. It doesn’t get any drastic change to make it feel like premium phones. As well all know, Motorola has the legacy of well-designed and unique phones. With its plastic build, the Moto Edge 30 Pro will get lost in the crowd.
From the performance front, we can expect a blazing fast speed both in daily usage as well as while playing games. In our usage we experience the device getting hot and struggles with heat dissipation. With Android 12 OS and MyUX custom skin, the Motorola smartphone runs well. Also Read – Realme V11, cheapest 5G smartphone launched
