OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G could soon launch as the new mobile phone in India. The leaks about the upcoming OnePlus phones have been pouring from all the directions. Although, the details about this upcoming OnePlus mobile phone are yet to be announced by the Chinese smartphone maker. Ahead of the official launch, the latest OnePlus smartphone appears on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This hints that the latest OnePlus mobile phone could launch soon in the country.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone is likely to debut as the successor to the OnePlus Nord CE. To recall, OnePlus officially launched the OnePlus Nord CE in the month of June this year. According to listings, OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G appears with the codename of Ivan. The upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 CE was first spotted on BIS website by tipster Mukul Sharma aka @stufflistings.

On BIS Listing, OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G appears with the model number IV2201. As mentioned above, the smartphone gets the codename as Ivan. Although, the BIS listing does not reveal any details about the RAM and storage configuration. It does reveal any colour option or the specifications about the upcoming OnePlus Nord series phone. According to early renders, the new OnePlus phone is likely to look similar to the Oppo Reno 7. Moreover, the new device could be the re-branded version of the Oppo Reno 7. On the other hand, OnePlus might bring some alteration in this device. Some specifications and renders of OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G leaked online along with price details. According to leaks, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G in India is likely to price around Rs 28000. Moreover, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G mobile phone could launch in first quarter of 2022 in India.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G: Specifications and Price in India
The new OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G could run on Android 12 OS which is based on Oxygen OS 12. The upcoming OnePlus phone sports a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. This display could support a 90Hz refresh rate. The render leaks suggests that the OnePlus device is likely to sport a hole-punch display design. Moreover, the display will get its protection from the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 series chipset could power the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G. This chipset is likely to come in pair with up to 12GB of RAM. The upcoming phone is likely to offer up to 256GB of storage. If the leaks are considered, the OnePlus phone will also get the same Mali G68 MC4 GPU. This Mali GPU is present on Oppo Reno 7 phone.
As for the optics, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE camera will get major difference in the camera setup from the Oppo Reno 7. A 64-megapixel main camera sensor is likely to accompany by an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor. The third sensor could be an 8-megapixel macro sensor.
