These days Poco is teasing its intentions about bringing a new successor to previous generation Poco F1 in India. However, the company is yet to finalize the name for the upcoming smartphone. Although, we do have an official launch date for the same. According to leaks, the new upcoming Poco Pro smartphone is likely to be the Poco X3 Pro. This upcoming device could launch on March 30th. However, the company has not given any official details about the upcoming smartphone.
Meanwhile, Poco claims that the new Poco Pro smartphone will provide a superior price to performance ratio. The company also confirms that the upcoming smartphone will stand equivalent to previous generation Poco F1 which was launched in 2018. However, the speculations about this phone confirms it to be Poco X3 Pro, though we don’t have any official statement on this.
Poco X3 Pro: New Poco Pro Smartphone
If previously leaked teasers are considered, the upcoming smartphone is likely to be a rebranded Redmi K40 which was launched recently in China. There are several leaks and rumors about this upcoming smartphone available on internet these days. Most of them corelates the smartphone to be rebranded Redmi K40 from China. Poco has already confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will launch at a similar pricing as that of Poco F1 from 2018. Coincidentally, the price of Redmi K40 is also similar to the pricing of Poco F1.

If rumors are considered, the Poco X3 Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K40. With this launch, Poco will bring back its true flagship killer category. As per specifications, Redmi K40 is power by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. To recall, Snapdragon 870 is a Snapdragon 865 chipset with a boosted performance core. Thus, buyer will get a flagship level performance from a mid-range smartphone.
The upcoming Poco X3 Pro is likely to come with AMOLED Display along with 120Hz refresh rate. The device will feature a 48-MP quad-rear camera setup. This smartphone packs in a 4520mAh battery along with 33W of fast-charging support. Regarding design elements, the smartphone will come with a premium glass body design. The smartphone will get direct competition from the likes of ageing Realme X3 and the recently launched Realme X7 Pro.
Poco X3 Pro: Other Speculations
Other speculations confirm that the upcoming smartphone could be a rebranded Mi 11 Lite along with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 775 SoC. With this rebranded handset, the Poco will give direct competition to ageing OnePlus Nord, which comes at much lower price tag.
