Xiaomi India has started teasing for the launch of Redmi Note 10S in India. The teaser brings in the unique packaging box with certain hints.

Few weeks ago, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10S smartphone in European market. This smartphone was launched as the latest addition to the highly impressive Redmi Note 10 series. According to rumors, the Chinese smartphone makers are planning to launch the same smartphone in India also. Additionally, Redmi India has gone ahead and shares the official teaser of the upcoming Redmi Note 10S smartphone. Thus, suggesting that the official launch is likely to happen soon. Xiaomi has also started to send out the media invitation for the online-only event. The Redmi Note 10S release date will be May 13 in India. Earlier, Redmi India from its official social media handle, reveals the unique packaging box of the upcoming smartphone.

Redmi Note 10S: Launch Date and Time

Xiaomi will be organizing an online event for the Redmi Note 10S launch on May 13 at 1200 IST in India. There will be no physical attendance plus, the complete event will be stream live via Redmi India’s official YouTube channel and other Social Media Handles. The teaser also does gives multiple hints at the Redmi Note 10S specs. Additionally, the unique packaging box does hints at the existence of 120Hz display, MIUI 12.5, 64-MP camera setup, bigger battery and much more. The packaging box also comes with a “Game-On” tag. The box also reveals that the smartphone could launch in three color options in India. These color options could include Blue, White and Dark Grey colors.

Redmi Note 10S India launch soon:

According to leaks, the upcoming Redmi Note 10S is likely to be the beefed up version of the standard Redmi Note 10 smartphone. Instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 678, the Redmi Note 10S smartphone is likely to come with MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. This chipset comes in pair with ARM Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. To recall, the same chipset is already seen powering on Realme 7 and Realme Narzo 20 Pro. Redmi India also hints that the smartphone is likely to run on updated MIUI 12.5 in India which will be possibly based on Android 11 OS.

Redmi Note 10S India Expected Specs:

Considering the Global variant, the upcoming Redmi Note 10S smartphone will support a 6.43-inch 1080p AMOLED. This display will come along with 60Hz refresh rate. Also, the smartphone will come with the support for dual stereo speakers which will come with Hi-Res Audio Certification. The Redmi Note 10S will pack in a 5000mAh battery which will get a 33W fast charging support. The smartphone could get upto 8GB RAM/128GB of native storage.

A recent report from 91Mobiles, confirms that the Redmi Note 10S will come in three storage configuration including 6GB RAM/ 64GB of storage, 6GB RAM/ 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM/ 128GB of native storage. Regarding camera, the Redmi Note 10S will feature a 64-MP quad rear camera setup. The 64-MP primary camera will come along an 8-MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2-MP macro lens and another 2-MP depth sensor. Redmi Note 10S Price in India:

Considering the Redmi Note 10S to be a beefed up version, then so will be the pricing. The Redmi Note 10S is likely to launch in India at a slightly higher price tag if compared with standard Redmi Note 10 smartphone. As per reports, the Redmi Note 10S price could start at Rs 13000 for the base variant. The smartphone will help Redmi India to fill in the gap between the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro. Keep in mind, Xiaomi has recently hiked the prices on the Redmi Note 10 series by Rs 500. This price hike was done without any official announcement from the company.
