When BSNL entered OTT race with BSNL Cinema Plus Service

BSNL has introduced its latest OTT service called Cinema Plus at reasonable price

BSNL Cinema Plus service is the new service recently launched by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. This service enables its subscribers to access multiple over-the-top (OTT) platforms with one subscription, like SonyLiv, Voot, Zee5 etc. If any BSNL Subscriber, want to access this service, they must have to pay Rs 129 per month (introductory offer price). This Cinema Plus service allows the subscribers to access many OTT channels (on the top), including SonyLiv, Voot Select and Zee5.

BSNL Cinema Plus: Offer

The bundled service will be available at a nominal charge of Rs. 199 per month for all the BSNL subscribers. However, the service is currently available at an introductory price of Rs. 129 per month for initial three months. The public service provider claims that over 300 television channels are provided through this service. BSNL claims that more than 8,000 movies can be access by this service.

As per previous reports, BSNL seems to have associated with YuppTV to offer its subscribers a Cinema Plus service. The YuppTV Scope allows users to access services under a single subscription to several OTT platforms. Also Read: MediaTek to launch its first MmWave modem M80 5G

BSNL Cinema Plus: Subscription

Subscribers can subscribe to this service by visiting the official website of BSNL Cinema Plus. They will be ask to sign up using your BSNL mobile number, telecom circle, email ID and full name.  After a user registers, they will be able to use the service. Also, This service can be accessed on their Android, iOS, Android TV and Amazon FireTV devices. Subscribers can also access the service through their web browser.

BSNL’s service also includes custom recommendations and the aggregation of content. The company will provide this service which allow users to access sports, movies, music and kids content on the platform in terms of genres.  Also Read: Fossil brings Gen 5E smartwatch to India

Competing operators such as Airtel, Jio and Vi also offers prepaid and postpaid subscription services attractive prices for OTT services. Also, Available OTT service includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney Hotstar. These OTT services are provide by Telecom companies for as low as Rs 129 on prepaid subscriptions.
