Xiaomi to use 200-megapixel camera sensor?

According to rumours, the reason behind this could be that the South Korean brand is likely to make use of larger pixel size. The company is not just looking to increase the megapixel count on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. If this could be the actual reason, then Xiaomi will become the first brand to make use of this 200-megapixel camera sensor. Plus, it will make a very interesting marketing campaign for the company as well as for consumers.

The rumoured 200-megapixel camera sensor will make use of 16-in-1 pixel binning technology to output 12MP images with larger pixels. We suggest you to take this post with a pinch of salt. This is because neither Samsung not Xiaomi have officially confirmed for this news. Both companies did not state anything about their upcoming flagship smartphones or even their specifications.
