Apple is all set to launch the 2021 iPad Pro models as the best alternative to the laptops. To assure its step, Apple this time brings same M1 chip in the new iPad Pro 2021 models, which was earlier used in MacBook Air. According to reports, it was always expected that the next gen of iPad Pro models will be faster than the previous generation. The result came and confirm that the Apple iPad Pro 2021 models are equally faster if compared with MacBook Air. The iPad Pro models have been tested on AnTuTu benchmarking website. The result came out as the new iPad Pro is almost as fast as the new MacBook Air.

2021 iPad Pro v/s MacBook Air:

As per result on AnTuTu, the M1-powered iPad Pro 2021 attains a score of 10,60,247. Whereas, the MacBook Air which is power by Apple’s M1 chip achieves a score of 11,19,243. Looking at the score we can see a marginal difference in the score. Thus, we can say that the iPad Pro models nearly matches the M1 powered MacBook Air in these benchmarking tests. These results come out as a relief for the MacBook Air users who were worried about the cheaper iPad Pro. This is because, the upcoming iPad Pro models are likely to offer superior performance. Keep in mind, the latest MacBook Air features only 8GB RAM/ 512GB of internal storage model on the AnTuTu website. Whereas, the iPad Pro model with 16GB RAM appeared on the same benchmarking website.

New iPad Pro high score on benchmark:

The Apple’s M1 chip on latest 2021 iPad Pro provides additional raw processing power. According to Geekbench listings, the next gen iPad Pro manages to beat the Microsoft’s recently launched Surface 4. To recall, the Microsoft Surface 4 comes with 11th Gen Intel Core i series processor. The iPad Pro also manage to trump the HP ProBook X360 which comes with AMD Ryzen 5800U processor. Additionally, it beats the iPhone 12 Pro which comes with Apple’s own A14. Keep in mind, all these scores are for the single core. In multi-core the iPad Pro model lost to HP laptop which is power by Ryzen 5800U processor.




These results means that the iPad Pro can easily provide sufficient power to the users while editing videos, photos, while running CAD programs and doing other stuffs. Regarding specs, the 2021 iPad Pro models will come with mini-LED display on the 12.9-inch display model. The iPad Pro will also support LiDAR sensor and will get improve rear cameras. 2021 iPad Pro models in India:

In India, the 2021 iPad Pro models are likely launch in two sizes with multiple storage options. These includes a 11-inch iPad Pro model and a 12.9-inch model. According to reports, the base model in India will come with 128GB of native storage. The other storage option models include a 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage models. Regarding pricing in India, the base model iPad Pro price starts at Rs 71900. Whereas, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro model comes with a price tag of Rs 99900. Also, the Cupertino tech major will also continue to sell its iPad Air 4 models which are power by A14 Bionic chips. This iPad offers similar bezel-less display design. It can also provide same level of performance if compared with current gen of iPhone series.
