Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Smartwatch with Amazon Alexa, SpO2 tracking launched in India; Unboxing

Last week, Fossil officially unveiled its new hybrid smartwatch in the Indian market. The latest smartwatch is dubbed the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid. This Hybrid Fossil watch comes with a classical design. The all-new Fossil Gen 6 smart watch succeeds the aging Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch. Furthermore, it offers features like Amazon Alexa Voice assistant, SpO2 blood oxygen tracking, and other smart notifications. The new Fossil Hybrid is a unisex smartwatch.

The latest smartwatch range comes in two sizes with different design patterns – Machine and Stella. The Fossil Machine model of the smartwatch features a 45mm dial with three colour variations. In contrast, the Fossil Stella watch variant features a smaller 40.5mm dial and is also offered in three distinct colorways. The Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatch also features customizable watch faces. Furthermore, it also comes with interchangeable Fossil bands, featuring leather and silicone watch straps. The Fossil Hybrid smartwatch also comes with a Bracelet style strap variant.

The all-new Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid watches start at Rs 17633 for India’s leather and silicone strap variants. The Bracelet style smart watch variant of the Gen 6 Hybrid comes with a price tag of Rs 19173. As mentioned above, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatch comes in two distinct designs. Here, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Machine watch comes in three different colour options – Black, Silver, and Smoke. In contrast, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Stella watch is available in Black, Rose Gold, and silver colorways.

Both Fossil Hybrid smart watch variants are available in a 3-link bracelet, mesh bracelet, leather strap, or silicone strap options. The smartwatch makers claims that the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid battery can easily last for up to two weeks on a single complete charge depending on the style and usage. The new range of hybrid smartwatches comes with built-in Amazon Alexa support. It can be accessed via a dedicated microphone for hands-free assistance, and the wearable will then display Alexa’s response on the screen. The all-new Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid also comes with Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) monitoring and heart rate tracking along with an accelerometer.

Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid: Unboxing

The Hybrid Gen 6 smartwatch is available in two models, each with three distinct color options. As mentioned above, the smartwatch also comes with different interchangeable Fossil straps. Looking at the front of the box, we can easily see the smartwatch inside the retail box.

Meanwhile, the smartwatch looks beautiful inside the transparent top lid on its packaging, which means we can see the smartwatch without opening the box packaging. Like other Fossil watches, the Gen 6 Hybrid has sharp looks and edges around the circular dial.
