Google Pixel 10 Expected Pricing

Multiple sources suggest Google will maintain last year’s pricing for the Pixel 10 family. That means the base Google Pixel 10 is likely to start around $799. To recall, the last year’s Pixel 9 launched at the price tag of $799 in the US markets. While the Pixel 10 Pro should come in at $999 and the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL around $1,099.

According to reports from phonearena, the Google’s foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold is tipped to launch at roughly $1,799. If this will be the original price than the prior model’s price will be undercutting the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold price. The leakster Roland Quandt claims pricing will be unchanged from last year. Overall, if these rumors pan out, the Pixel 10 series could offer strong value. A $799 Pixel 10 with flagship-grade cameras and AI features would be “hard to rival.” Furthermore, the $999 Pixel 10 Pro may look like a bang-for-buck flagship compared to Samsung’s ~$1,100 Galaxy S25. Even the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold at $1,799 is generating optimism among enthusiasts, given its lower price than Samsung’s Fold.

Pixel 10 Series Color Options

Google often offers Pixels in fun colors. The Pixel 10 may come in such hues like “Ultra Blue” (bright blue), “Limoncello” (yellow), “Iris” (light purple), and a black or dark gray (often called Obsidian/Midnight). The Google Pixel 10 Pro/XL could launch with more muted tones: “Sterling Gray”, “Porcelain” (off-white), black (Midnight), and “Smoky Green”. Keep in mind, these names surfaced from insider reports and could change. Curiously, the foldable model ditches black entirely. Instead, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to launch only in “Moonstone” and “Jade”. Pixel 10 Design with Familiar Looks

When it comes to keeping developments secret, Google doesn’t have the best record. We’re four weeks away from the expected launch, and high-quality renders have already been circulating on the internet for a while. Leaked renders and live photos suggest the Pixel 10 will closely resemble the Pixel 9 series in design. Also Read: Moto G96 5G with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Launched in India for Rs 17,999

No design change

At first glance, the Pixel 10 renders look similar to those of the Pixel 9. Google appears to be “playing it extremely safe” on the hardware design this year. The overall aesthetics will remain same including the signature camera bar across the back. This means that the phone will retain its design elements. These elements includes the likes of punch-hole camera, symmetrical bezels on the front, flat edges, and an oblong camera visor at the back.

A recent report suggests that the dimensions for the Google Pixel 10 devices are almost identical to their predecessors. The base Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro reportedly measure roughly 152.8 × 72 × 8.6 mm, and the Pro XL about 162.7 × 76.6 × 8.5 mm. This means Pixel 9 cases should fit Pixel 10 in many cases. Frame Design

Furthermore, the build quality should be similar, with water resistance as expected. One minor change spotted in leaked prototypes is the SIM tray’s relocation to the top-left edge. While the regular Pixel 10 seems to have a matte texture on the frame, the Pro variants — including the Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro XL — have a glossy frame.

Camera Layout

The most visible design change is on the standard Pixel 10’s rear camera bar. Instead of two lenses, the Pixel 10 camera bar will feature triple camera setup. This confirms the biggest rumor around the telephoto lens support. According to rumors, this time, the non-Pro Pixel smartphone models will also get the telephoto lens.

The telephoto camera will be addition to the main and ultrawide lenses. Besides the addition of extra sensor, the Pixel 10’s appearance remains clean and minimalist. The upcoming smartphone lineup will continue the design language Google introduced with Pixel 6. Also Read: Foldable iPhone tipped to launch in 2026, to feature a crease-free display

Google Pixel 10 Display

Screen sizes are likely to stay the same as before on the upcoming Pixel 10 series. While the regular Google Pixel 10 and the Pixel 10 Pro are rumored to feature the same 6.3-inch screen, the Pixel 10 Pro XL should have a larger 6.8-inch display. All models will likely use HDR-capable OLED panels with slim bezels. Also Read: Infinix Hot 60 5G+ with MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC launched in India under 10,000

High Refresh Rate and Brightness

The Pro and Pro XL could feature LTPO adaptive refresh from 1–120Hz. While the base Pixel 10 supports a smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Resolution on the standard Google Pixel 10 will be FHD+, whereas the Pro variants will stick to sharper QHD+. There will be improvements in screen quality, one of the raise will be in screen brightness.

The Pixel 10’s screen can reportedly hit 2000 nits peak brightness. The Pro models may go even further – one leak claims the Pixel 10 Pro/XL could reach up to ~2250 nits or possibly 3000 nits peak in high brightness mode. With such bright display, the visibility in sunlight should be excellent. All displays will be getting the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for improved drop resistance.

Google Pixel 10 Fold Display

Regarding the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the foldable is likely to feature the same 8.0-inch primary and 6.3-inch secondary panel, both of which support a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2700 nits (HBM limited to 1600 nits on the inner screen and 1800 nits on the cover screen). The upcoming smartphone series could see the return of an under-display fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.

Google Pixel 10 Other Details

The Pixel 10 series will certainly support 5G along with Wi-Fi 6E/ 6GHz Wi-Fi. However, earlier rumors suggested that the base Pixel 10 might not support Wi-Fi 7, even though last year’s Pixel 9 did. This will surprising if true and could be a cost-cutting move. All three Pixel phones should have wireless charging and strong durability. The Pro models are expected to support Wi-Fi 7 as well as Ultra Wideband (UWB) for features like digital car keys and device tracking. These features will remain absent on the vanilla Pixel 10 smartphone. Additionally, the vanilla variant will rely on standard Bluetooth and NFC. Furthermore, the foldable Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is even rumored to be fully dustproof with an IP68 rating.

Pixel 10 Hardware

The Pixel 10 series will debut Google’s new Tensor G5 chip. Recent leak indicates that this chipset will be a significant upgrade from previous generations. Tensor G5’s CPU and GPU performance is about 20–25% faster than the Tensor G4 in the Pixel 9. As per the benchmark record, the Tensor G5 could be comparable to last year’s top Snapdragon 8 Gen chips.

Pixel with latest Tensor chip

The latest processor will be a huge improvement, considering Tensor chips have traditionally lagged behind Qualcomm’s flagship processors. Google apparently achieved this by switching to TSMC’s 3nm process technology for the Tensor G5. With TSMC manufacturing, the Tensor G5 should run cooler and maintain higher speeds under load.

The Tensor G5 will also feature an upgraded TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) for AI and machine learning. This will enable new on-device AI features. Tensor G5 might comprise a 3.4GHz Cortex-X4 prime core, five 2.86GHz Cortex-A725 cores, and two 2.44GHz Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. Also Read: iQOO Neo 10R vs OnePlus Nord CE5; Detailed Comparison

RAM/ Storage Options

The Google Tensor G5 chipset will pair with 12 GB of RAM on the Pixel 10, and 16 GB RAM on the Pro and Pro XL. Rumors suggest that the base variant of Pixel 10 will offer 128/ 256 GB. While, the Pixel 10 Pro could get 128/ 256/ 512 GB storage. There could be a special 1TB storage variant as well.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL will start at 256 GB and go up to 1 TB. There will be no microSD card slot, so choose the storage variant wisely. Overall, the upcoming Pixel 10 might finally offer the snappy performance and battery efficiency to truly compete with other 2025 flagships.

Google Pixel 10 Camera

Cameras are the best part of any Pixel phones. The upcoming Pixel 10 lineup is ready to continue Google’s photography excellence. The biggest change is that the vanilla Pixel 10 is getting a telephoto camera for the first time. Earlier, in the previous generations only the Pro models had a zoom lens.

  • 12 GB RAM | 128 GB ROM
  • 17.02 cm (6.7 inch) Quad HD+ Display
  • 50MP + 48MP + 12MP | 10.8MP Front Camera
₹42,999

Camera Unit on standard variant

This year, the standard Pixel 10 will feature a triple-lens setup: a primary wide camera, an ultra-wide, and a telephoto zoom lens. According to leaks, this telephoto will offer around 5× optical zoom. This will be a game-changer for the non-Pro Pixel devices. To accommodate the tele lens, Google reportedly had to use slightly smaller sensors for the main and ultra-wide cameras on the Pixel 10 series.

The leaked specs claim the Pixel 10’s main camera will use a 50 MP Samsung GN8 sensor accompanied by a 13 MP Sony IMX712 for the ultra-wide. Earlier, these particular sensors were actually used in the affordable Pixel 9a. Overall the Pixel 10 should be a  camera upgrade on all counts.

Camera Unit on Pro variants

The rumors suggest the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will reuse the camera hardware from the Google Pixel 9 Pro series. This means that there will be a 50 MP main sensor (Samsung GNV, 1/1.3-inch size). The secondary 48 MP ultra-wide sensor is accompanied by a 48 MP telephoto (5× optical). Additionally, there will be a high-resolution front camera around 42–48 MP for selfies.

Camera Features on Pixel

The camera features will be highly improved on this year’s Pixel lineup. For example, the image stabilization is likely to be heavily improved on the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Fold. The upcoming Pixel 10 will offer the DJI Osmo gimbal like steady footage. The Pixel 10 Pro series may allow users to take macro close-up shots using the telephoto lens for certain subjects. In summary, Google Pixel 10 series is ready to bring Pixel 10 Pro-level photography to the base model, which is big news.

Google Pixel 10 Battery and Charging

Google is reportedly giving a small battery capacity boost to each model. The base Google Pixel 10 could boast a 4,970 mAh battery, up from ~4,700 mAh in the Pixel 9. The Pixel 10 Pro will have around 4,870 mAh, a slight increase from ~4,700 mAh in Pixel 9 Pro.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is likely to pack a 5,200 mAh, up from ~5,060 mAh in the 9 Pro XL.  These ~5% increases may not drastically change battery life, but every bit helps to get through a full day. With Google Tensor G5 chipset these battery capacities will be offer much better backup.

Charging Speeds and Duration

The charging speeds remain on the conservative side. According to leaked specs, the upcoming Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will get wired charging at 29W. While, the 39W fast wired charging for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. This will be minimal bump from the last year’s Pixel 9 Pro with ~27W, and Pro XL with ~37W.

As per the latest rumors, the Pixel 10 Pro XL might charge from 0–100% in roughly an hour (given ~39W on a 5200 mAh cell). While the smaller models will charge a bit slower. There will be wireless charging support on all the four models. Furthermore, the wireless charging support is likely to be listed at 15W for all models.

Google Pixel 10 Connectivity

All Pixel 10 models will of course support 5G networks (likely both sub-6GHz and mmWave on US models). The company will remain stuck with a Samsung Exynos modem (g5400) for the upcoming Pixel 10 series. This is probably a refined version of the modem from Tensor G4.

Furthermore, the upcoming Pixel phones will have the usual GPS, NFC for Google Pay, and Bluetooth (likely v5.3). As noted, only the Pro/XL are likely to have Ultra-Wideband radio. Satellite connectivity for emergency SOS texting will continue to be supported on all Pixel 10 models. This feature was first introduced with the Pixel 9 Series.
