Last year, Amazfit Bip U is one of the most affordable smartwatches in India. The smartwatch left a positive impression on many of the tech enthusiasts. Even though,, Amazfit Bip U misses couple of necessary features. Now, Amazfit has decided to over come all those shortcomings with the “Pro” version of the same smartwatch. This upcoming Amazfit smartwatch will be dubbed as Amazfit Bip U Pro. The company has already started teasing about this upcoming Amazfit Bip U Pro smartwatch on Amazon India. However, the company has not announced the official launch date for the same. But, leaks do suggest that the smartwatch could launch within this week.
To recall, the Amazfit Bip U Pro was launched in US markets in December 2020. This smartwatch was launched as pumped version of standard Bip U variant. The only upgrades in this smartwatch over standard version is that, it includes a microphone for taking Amazon Alexa commands, a GPS sensor, and a geomagnetic sensor for compass. Rest of the features including design element remains same as that of standard Bip U smartwatch.
Amazfit Bip U Pro launching in India
Amazfit just added a teaser image of Bip U Pro on Amazon India. The company is yet to announce the official price for this upcoming Bip U Pro model. According to leaks, the Bip U Pro model will cost slightly more than the regular variant. To recall, the Amazfit Bip U is currently selling at a price of Rs 3,999 in India. Therefore, we can expect the Pro variant with extra features to ask for extra 1,000 bucks and could cost us around Rs 4,999 or even more.
Amazfit Bip U Pro: Design
Following the similar design element, the Bip U Pro comes with a 1.43-inch of LCD display. The design of this smartwatch is inspire from Apple Watch wearables. The display comes with a 2.5D glass for protection. It also gets anti-fingerprint coating for scratch resistance. This smartwatch comes with a plastic build and features a silicon strap. Amazfit sells this smartwatch is three color options including black, green, and pink colors. With this plastic body, the smartwatch feels light and weighs only 31 grams.
Amazfit Bip U Pro: Features
The all new Amazfit Bip U Pro comes with multiple health features. These health features could include measure for heart rate, blood Oxygen saturation monitoring, sleep tracking, stress monitoring and much more. All these health factors are manage courtesy its BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensors. The Pro smartwatch can also show notifications from user’s smartphone. This notifications from smartphone are related to call alerts, messages, music playback control, stopwatch, weather forecast, camera shutter control and much more. The device comes with a small battery of 230mAh. Even though, Amazfit claims that this smartwatch can work for 9 days on a single charge from 0 to 100%. The Amazfit Bip U Pro is likely to compete with other smartwatch from brands like Realme. To recall, Realme recently launched its Realme Watch S at a starting price tag of Rs 4,999. The Realme smartwatch comes with a circular dial and basic fitness tracking features.
