Recently a report suggested that Google has cancelled the launch of Google Pixel 5a. However, now, the US based Tech giant rejects any such report. The search giants claims that the Google Pixel 5a 5G exists and is likely to launch in the later half of this year. To recall, last week a report came claiming about the end of Pixel 5a smartphone. Later last week, Google step up and assured about the existence of the Pixel smartphone with 5G version. The smartphone is likely to come with a name of Pixel 5a 5G.
Google Pixel 5a: In Making
Although, Google did not reveal any official launch date for the upcoming Pixel smartphone. However, the company does reveals that the Pixel phone will launch in select markets only including Japan and United States. India cannot make up to the list. Meanwhile, rumors does suggest that the launch timeline can be anywhere around August to October.
What Google official says?
Another report from last week also suggest that the Pixel 5a has been cancel due to global chip shortage. However, later the same week, a Google Spokesperson refused the report and said that Google Pixel 5a is still alive and will launch with 5G connectivity. The spokesperson shares that Pixel 5a 5G smartphone has not been cancel yet. The smartphone will surely launch later this year, but only in the select market of United States and Japan. This will be a good news for the Pixel fans, as the company is planning to bring the successor to Pixel 4a smartphone. However, this will not be good news for Indian fans, as the smartphone will not launch in India anytime soon. As mentioned above, Google has already reveal that the Pixel 5a 5G smartphone will head to only to international markets of Japan and the United States. To recall, Google launches its Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 smartphones last year in select region only. Some other rumors also suggests that Pixel 6 smartphone will be launching soon. Similar to Pixel 5a, we don’t have any official launch date about this upcoming Pixel 6 series. Although, rumors does suggest that the tech giants could announce more details and launch date of this upcoming flagship Pixel lineup in upcoming Google I/O 2021 developer conference.
