Realme has officially launched the all new Realme Watch 2 Pro in Malaysia. This Realme smart watch launches with couple of upgraded features over its predecessor. The Chinese brand launches its latest watch at a starting price of 299 MYR which is approximately Rs 5200. Also, the all new Realme Watch comes in two color options including Space Grey and Metallic Silver colors. The smart watch is likely to replace the aging Realme Watch S. To recall, the Realme Watch S has launched in several markets.
On comparison with older model, the new model of Realme Watch 2 Pro comes with a modern square dial design. This is one of the biggest display in this price segment. Realme Watch 2 Pro comes with 1.7-inch display along with touchscreen input. Additionally, the Realme smart watch comes with different strap with multiple color options. However, Realme is yet to announce its launching plans for other global markets. As per hints, we can expect the company to launch it in India later this year.
Realme Watch 2 Pro: Features
The all new Realme Watch 2 Pro supports a larger 1.7-inch LCD display along with a screen resolution of 320*285 pixels. The Chinese brand claims that the smart watch can achieve a maximum screen brightness of 600 nits. Also, the Realme smart watch comes with IP68 water resistance rating. It has a single power key which can act like the menu key. The Realme Watch comes with the battery capacity of 390mAh. Realme claims that this battery can deliver a battery life of up to 14 days.
The Realme smart watch also comes with upgraded fitness tracking features. The main highlight includes the addition of over 90 sports mode tracking. However, these sports modes will be made active with future software updates. For health features, the Watch 2 Pro comes with an optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen saturation monitor along with usual Calorie tracker. The Realme smart watch also gets support for dual-GPS location tracking. It will help with more accurate data logs. These days, Most of these features comes with sub-Rs 7000 watches. Just like its predecessor, the Realme Watch 2 Pro comes with Realme Link app support. This app lets the users alter settings and monitor all the health related data.
Beside, Realme smart watch, the company also launch the Pocket Bluetooth Speaker, the Buds Wireless 2 and the Buds Wireless 2 Neo in Malaysia. On the other hand, Last week, Redmi launches its first ever smart watch in India. The watch comes with the name of Redmi Watch. It starts at Rs 3999. The Redmi Watch gets all the essential features of Mi Smart Band 5. The Redmi Watch gets a square shaped dial along with 1.4-inch display.
