Samsung Galaxy A82 could support “flip camera phone”

Previously, The Samsung Galaxy A82 was tipped on Geekbench using a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The listing also confirms 6GB RAM and Android 11 OS

Samsung released Galaxy A80 back in 2019. The device was one of the hot selling phone which comes with a flip camera arrangement. However, the company did not brought it’s sequel in 2020. According to leaks, the company is planning to launch it’s successor this year. The device is likely to called Samsung Galaxy A82. Some leaks confirm that the device will also support flip camera mechanism.

According to reports, The device was also spotted on Geekbench, Benchmarking website. The Geekbench listing reveals some of the key specifications about this upcoming handset. According to listings, The Korean smartphone makers will rely on older chipset for upcoming Samsung Galaxy A82. The listing confirms that Samsung is likely to use old generation Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset.

Additionally, the device is likely to come with with 6GB RAM. The smartphone is likely to run on Android 11 OS. Additionally, The listing does not reveal anything else, apart from the benchmarking scores. In 2019, Samsung launched Galaxy A80 under premium price segment. The device comes with unique design along with Flip Camera Mechanism. Now In 2021, Samsung could follow the same trend from 2019. Therefore, the company is planning to launch its Galaxy A82 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ under premium smartphone category.

Samsung Galaxy A82: Expected Camera

According to leaks, the device will fall under similar price bracket as upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 and Redmi K40. Previous leaks confirm that the new model will also feature flip camera mechanism. However, Samsung is planning to use newer version of triple-camera system on this upcoming Samsung Galaxy A82.

This unique camera system will allow smartphone to offer an uninterrupted display experience without any notch or cutout. However, The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ is not the powerful chipset. Samsung’s upcoming launches

Currently, Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy A52 along with Galaxy A72. These devices will land in various markets, including India. According to leaks, The Galaxy A52 4G variant is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G. On the other hand, The Galaxy A52 5G will rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Indian market is also waiting for Samsung Galaxy A82, as its predecessor got highly popular because of its unique design in 2019.

Earlier this week, The Korean Smartphone makers launched its Galaxy A32 in India. The pricing for Galaxy A32 starts at Rs 21,999. The device comes with MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The smartphone features a 6.4-inch 1080p AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A32 gets a 5000mAh battery along with fast-charging support out of the box.
