Realme GT 5G has been officially launch by the Chinese smartphone makers in China through an online launch event. The company calls this smartphone as the company’s first performance flagship. The device has been earlier teased at MWC 2021 in China. Now, Finally the Chinese smartphone makers have released it officially in China.
Realme GT 5G: Details
The flagship Realme GT 5G comes with a 6.43-inch OLED display along with 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset comes with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Additionally, the device also supports a a 120Hz refresh rate support. According to company, the device offers 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. This flagship smartphone features a 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Realme GT 5G: Specs
The flagship smartphone Realme GT 5G runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC. This chipset comes along with 12GB RAM/ 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on custom Realme UI 2.0 which is based on Android 11 out of the box. Additionally, the handset also comes with USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
For cameras, The smartphone comes with 64-MP triple-rear camera setup. This camera setup compromises of 64-MP primary sensor coming with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the front display houses a 16-MP snapper with f/2.5 aperture inside a punch-hole.
Apart from hardware, Realme has also provided additional support of Stainless Steel VC Cooling System. This cooling system improves the overall heat dissipation performance. The company confirms that by using stainless steel for the cooling system the heat dissipation structure will see major improvements. Thus, it will help in optimizing the performance of the Realme GT 5G smartphone.
The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery which is coupled with 125W of fast charging support out of the box. The Chinese smartphone maker claims that 125W fast charger can charge the handset from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes.
Realme GT: Price
At the launch event, The company gave a really competitive pricing for the new upcoming flagship Realme GT 5G smartphone. The device comes in two storage options: 8GB/ 128GB and 12GB/ 256GB. The pricing for Realme GT 5G starts at 2799 Yuan. The pricing for 8GB/ 128GB internal storage variant starts at 2,799 Yuan which is approximately Rs 31500. The top-end variant of 12GB/ 256GB internal storage will sell for 3,299 Yuan which is approximately Rs 37000.
Initially, the company has launched the smartphone in China only. We can expect smartphone to launch in Indian markets in coming months. However, we don’t have any official information regarding its Indian launch. Also, there is no details about its pricing in India. Currently, the device comes in a three colors along with one unique color pattern of Yellow and Black.
