Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Series launch event in India

Xiaomi unveils its Redmi Note 10 series globally at a starting price of Rs 11999. Earlier today, in an online launch event, Xiaomi launched three models under the Redmi Note 10 series in India. These three models are the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. 

Redmi Note 10 Series: As it Happens

According to company prices, the base model of the Redmi Note 10 launches at a price tag of Rs 11999. The pricing for the Redmi Note 10 Pro launches at a starting price of Rs 15999. The company also confirms that the handset will be available via online sale starting from March 16th. Consumers can buy these latest Redmi Note 10 series smartphones via e-commerce website Amazon India, mi.com. These devices will also be available in Mi Home Stores across the country. Additionally, the company also confirms that the device will soon be sold via offline stores.

The company also shares the price details for all the variants through this online launch event. The company confirms that all three models will come along with three separate variants. Additionally, The pricing for these variants starts as,

The Chinese manufacturer also confirms that the sale for the Redmi Note 10 will start on 16th March at 1200 IST. The sale for the Redmi Note 10 Pro will start on 17th March at 1200 IST. The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 will offer a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The handset comes with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The vanilla variant features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 678 SoC. The chipset comes paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The handset runs on a 5000mAh battery coupled with 33W of fast charging support out of the box. Additionally, the Redmi Note 10 runs on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 OS out of the box.

For cameras, the Redmi Note 10 comes with a 48-MP quad-rear camera setup. The handset offers a 48-MP Sony IMX 582 sensor, coupled with an 8-MP ultra-wide lens, a 2-MP macro lens, and a 2-MP depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone comes with a 13-MP front shooter. The Redmi Note 10 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. This display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display supports 120 nits of brightness, along with HDR-10 and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. Snapdragon chipset

The Pro variant is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G processor. This chipset is paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM/128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Also, the device is backed by a 5020mAh battery, which comes with 33W of fast charging support out of the box. The handset runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Quad Camera Setup

Regarding cameras, the Pro variant comes with a 64-MP quad-rear camera setup. The device comes with a 64-MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor, a 5-MP Super Macro sensor, which comes with 2x zoom, an 8-MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 2-MP depth sensor. The front camera comes with a 16-MP selfie shooter. The top-end variant comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G SoC.
