AnTuTu is one of the most popular benchmarking website. Recently, AnTuTu has released its latest listings for the best mobile phone with Android OS in February 2021. This month’s listings compromises of several handsets coming with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Chipset. These new handsets came from the likes of Vivo, Realme, Redmi etc.
Vivo iQOO 7 grabs top spot as best phone:
There are other devices with older Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC that rounds up the top 10 list. The iQOO 7 grabs the top spot as the best mobile phone. The handset comes with latest Snapdragon 888 chipset. The device manage to attain the highest score of 712366. This score is just above the score of Vivo’s X60 Pro Plus. Additionally, This mobile phone from Vivo also comes with Snapdragon 888 chipset and attains the second spot. The X60 Pro Plus receives a score of 726925.
Redmi K40 Pro stands third:
The recently launched Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro coming with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset occupies third spot in the list. This mobile phone gets a total score of 718434. Additionally, placed on the fourth spot with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset comes the Xiaomi’s power house Mi 11. The Mi 11 grabs a total score of 712366.
Non-Snapdragon mobile phone stands fifth:
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is the non-Snapdragon smartphone which with Kirin 9000 chipset. The device gets a score of 683819 on this list. Thereafter, The Samsung’s Galaxy S21 which comes with Snapdragon 888 chipset follows the Huawei Mate 40 Pro at sixth position. Redmi K40 sits at seventh spot:
The Xiaomi’s Redmi K40 stands at seventh position which comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset. Here, this mobile phone gets a score of 668471 on this list. Additionally, The last three sports are acquire by Oppo’s Reno 5 Pro Plus, Xiaomi’s Redmi K30S, and Vivo’s iQOO 5. To recall, all these three phone comes with Qualcomm’s older Snapdragon 865 chipset.
The actual performance difference can be observe from the score difference between the Snapdragon 870-powered Xiaomi’s Redmi K40 and the Snapdragon 865-powered Oppo Device. To recall, the Snapdragon 870 SoC is essentially a Snapdragon 865 SoC with a higher clock speed. Additionally, The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC boosts the performance with higher clock speed of upto 3GHz.
However, this AnTuTu score shows just the raw power. These scores cannot showcase the real world experience. Therefore, it is highly advised to not consider these scores while selecting your next flagship smartphone. Upcoming Mobile Phone in India:
The Samsung’s S21 which comes with Exynos Chipset did not make to the top 10 list of AnTuTu. However, some leak confirms that most of these smartphones could be launching to various markets this year. According to some leaks, The OnePlus 9 series is likely to arrive in March. Reports also confirms that Poco F3 is also expected to launch in coming weeks. Few leaks also confirms that Xiaomi’s best mobile phone from Mi 11 series could also land in Indian markets in coming months.
