OnePlus is all prepared to launch the successor of OnePlus Nord smartphone in India. The Chinese brand is planning to launch OnePlus Nord CE 5G as successor to original OnePlus Nord smartphone. As mentioned in previous post, the smartphone will officially launch on June 10 at the OnePlus Summer Launch Event. Additionally, there are lots of rumors about its specification, price details that are popping out. Recently some new specs about the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE surface online. These details provides an idea about the chipset that will be used for the upcoming Nord phone.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G Specs leaked online:
According to Android Central, the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5G is likely to be power by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. To recall, this is the same chipset that have been already seen on recently launched Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G phone. The report from Android Central also suggest that the smartphone is likely to settle in an upper budget price segment. The report suggest that OnePlus Nord CE 5G price will fall under Rs 27000. However, there are chances that the upcoming smartphone could be priced under Rs 25000. Keep in mind, last year, OnePlus Nord was also launch at a similar price point.
Additionally, regarding camera configuration, the report suggest that the Nord phone will feature a 64-MP main rear camera along with two more camera sensors. However, the report does not provide any details about the other two camera sensors. For selfies, the front camera will be rated at 16-MP, much like the other OnePlus phones. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display along with 90Hz refresh rate.
OnePlus Nord launch event details:
There are still a lot of details about the upcoming Nord phone, that is yet to be disclose. Some of the confirm news includes that the OnePlus Nord CE 5G phone will launch via Amazon India. In this nomenclature, the word CE stands for Core Edition. A “Notify Page” is already live on Amazon India website. Additionally, the smartphone will be up for pre-orders starting June 11. The first sale for the upcoming Nord phone will commence on June 16.
The Nord CE 5G could launch along side the OnePlus TV U1S. But currently, we don’t have much details on this smart TV lineup.
