RedmiBook Pro, RedmiBook e-Learning Edition launched in India

Redmi has launched the all-new RedmiBook Pro and the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition in India. The latest set of device comes with a starting price of Rs 41999.

RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition officially launched in India. Both laptops come with 11th-Gen Intel Core processors. It supports up to 512GB of SSD storage. Xiaomi claims that the RedmiBook Pro is designed for professionals and peoples working from home. Whereas, the Xiaomi RedmiBook e-Learning Edition targets student learning remotely.




These laptops come with Full HD display. Xiaomi claims that these devices can deliver up to 10 hours of battery life on single charge. Additionally, these laptops run on Windows 10 Home Edition. Xiaomi is offering the preloaded Microsoft Office Home on both the new RedmiBook models. Xiaomi India confirms that both the laptops are also eligible for free Windows 11 OS upgrade whenever available. These devices also come with pre-installed Mi Share app. This app allows easy file sharing between compatible devices.

RedmiBook Pro, e-Learning Edition price in India:

RedmiBook Pro price in India starts at Rs 49999. The Pro variant is available in sole variant option with 8GB RAM and 512GB of storage configuration. The device is available in Charcoal Grey colour option. On the other hand, the e-Learning Edition price in India starts at Rs 41999. The e-Learning Edition comes with two storage options. The base variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The base variant is available with a price tag of Rs 41999. The other variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage comes with a price tag of Rs 44999.

Both laptops will be up for sale starts August 6 at 12PM (Noon). The Xiaomi laptops will be available via Flipkart, Xiaomi India official website and other Mi Home Store. The Chinese brand is also offering some introductory discount offers. The RedmiBook Pro will come with up to Rs 3500 instant discount. The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition will come with up to Rs 2500 instant discount. The discount can be availed by using HDFC cards while making the purchase. The company is also offering some EMI offers.



RedmiBook Pro Specifications:

The all-new RedmiBook Pro comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display. The Pro variant runs on Windows 10 Home Edition. The laptop also comes with a scissor-mechanism keyboard with 1.5mm key travel. The device also features a 100cm trackpad with support for Windows Precision Drivers and multi-touch inputs. Regarding hardware specifications, the Pro variant carries an 11th-Gen Intel Core i5-11300H processor. The processor can offer a maximum clock speed of 4.4GHz. It comes coupled with Intel Xe Graphics. The device also gets 8GB of DDR4 RAM which is clocked at 3200MHz. The machine comes with 512GB of NVMe SSD storage configuration.

Regarding connectivity options, the Pro variant of RedmiBook includes Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 5. For connectivity port, it includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 2.0, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45), and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Additionally, there is a support for an SD card reader. Meanwhile, Xiaomi also claims that the RedmiBook Pro can boot in less than 25 seconds. Also, the machine could offer a wake time of less than two seconds.

The RedmiBook Pro comes with 2W dual speakers. These speakers come with DTS Audio to deliver a stereo sound experience. The audio output can be customized through the preloaded DTS Audio app. Additionally, the RedmiBook Pro also comes with 720p webcam along with dual microphones. The Redmi laptop also includes a large air intake vent. This allows to maintain temperature. Beside this, Xiaomi also claims that the device can deliver up to 10 hours of battery life.



Redmi Book e-Learning Edition Specifications:

Just like the RedmiBook Pro, the e-Learning Edition laptop comes with Windows 10 Home. The laptop comes with same 15.6-inch Full HD display. However, the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with toned-down 11th-Generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 processors. This processor can offer a maximum clock speed of 4.1GHz. It comes with two storage options. These includes 256GB of SATA SSD and 512GB of NVMe SSD. The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with 8GB of RAM with 3200MHz clock speed.

The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with dual stereo speakers along with DTS Audio support. Regarding connectivity options, the e-Learning Edition laptop comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB as well as HDMI ports.
