Twitter has introduced a new feature called “Twitter full size image preview” that allows users to display images in full size within the tweets. This feature aims to provide ease of access to the users on Twitter by providing them with all the important details in the post without the need for opening it. The feature was tested earlier by the micro-blogging website and has now been rolled out officially for general Twitter users.

With this new feature, users will no longer have to guess what’s hiding in the rest of a cropped picture in their feed. Instead, non-horizontal images will be displayed in their entirety on your timeline, allowing you to see them in their original aspect ratio.
