Asus ZenFone Mini: Maximized Specs

Asus will take a range of directions with the ZenFone Mini. It could follow iPhone 12 mini, recreates a compact phone with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Asus may also choose to follow a different path with less capable specifications and take cost-cutting steps to meet very low prices.

We don’t know currently what the next flagship of ZenFone might bring. If Asus chooses to maintain its Flip Camera configuration or to follow a simplified phone like all other phones remains to be seen. Obviously, the ZenFone Mini would then have a conventional camera setup extracted probably from aging ROG Phone 3.

Asus could use the Snapdragon 870 chipset (just like other manufacturers) to keep the costs relatively low. With the exception of boosted performance core the Snapdragon 870 delivers comparable performance to last year the Snapdragon 865 processor. It may sound weak, but there is nothing that can match Snapdragon 865 in the world of Android.

The ZenFone Mini could come out as a mini powerhouse at cheaper prices, similar to the iPhone SE 2020. To keep prices down, Asus could even opt for an LCD display in it’s Zenfone Mini series. The device could also packs in a 5000mAh battery. It could come with same 64-MP Sony camera sensor from the current ROG Phone 3 and ZenFone 7 Pro.

Asus ROG Phone 5: Speculations

DigiTimes report also states that ASUS will launch ROG Phone 5 in this spring. The device could launch in the month of March. According to reports, The ROG Phone 5 will feature a Snapdragon 888 processor. DigiTimes insists that premium specs phone will come at premium price; it states that ROG Phone 5 will be more expensive than its predecessor.

The ROG Phone 5 can also feature a dot matrix on the back for Aura Lighting. You need to take it with a pinch of salt as it is too early to believe in such speculations. Also Read: Google working on anti-tracking privacy feature for Android, like Apple
