Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition Gaming laptops have been launched in India. The pair of Asus Gaming laptops comes right after the announcement of the latest Radeon mobile graphics at COMPUTEX 2021. The new Asus ROG laptop comes with AMD Ryzen 9 series processor. This chipset comes in pair with newly announced Radeon RX 6800M GPU.
If you are wondering what the moniker “Advantage Edition” means, Asus says it refers to improved built quality and durability that comes courtesy of a new metal lid. The original black color has been combined with a red hinge cap and RGB illumination that may be customized to fit one’s gaming mood and requirements. Asus claims that the new modern design is giving way for 85% screen-to-body ratio.
Asus ROG Strix G-Series laptops: Price and Availability
The all-new ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition, Strix G17 Advantage Edition comes with AMD’s highest-end mobile CPU and highest-end mobile GPU. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese brand has not announced the official pricing and availability details for the ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition laptops yet. Whereas, The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition price in starts at Rs 154990. Asus claims that the ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition will be up for sale starting August 11. Whereas, the ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition will be launching sometime around the end of third quarter this year. Regarding the availability, the ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition gaming laptop will sell via the company’s Exclusive Stores, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales.

The all-new Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition gaming laptops come in two screen sizes, with 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch display. The display on the ROG laptop is an IPS LCD panel along with QHD resolution. These displays will have up to 300Hz screen refresh rate and 3ms response time. Additionally, both displays also comes with support for AMD FreeSync Premium Technology.
Battery:
The pair of Asus ROG laptop packs in 90Whr battery each. Asus claims that this battery can offer up to 11.4 hours of video playback time. Additionally, both the ROG laptop comes with fast charge support. The Taiwanese brand also claims that up to 50 per cent of battery can charge in just 30 minutes. Hardware:
The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition gaming laptops comes with AMD SmartShift feature. This feature automatically adjusts the load on both CPU and GPU. This is the latest technology that is likely to boost performance by up to 15 per cent. Both the ROG Strix G Series Gaming laptops are powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 59000 HX octa-core CPU. This chipset comes in pair with all-new AMD Radeon RX 6800M GPU with 12GB GDDR6 memory, which was launched recently at the COMPUTEX 2021. Meanwhile, this GPU is based on their new RDNA 2 architecture.
Both Asus gaming laptops pack in up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. Regarding connectivity port options, each device comes with 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI 2.0, three USB Type-A slots, one USB Type-C port, and one RJ45 LAN port. Similarly other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. As for the Audio experience, the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition and the Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition comes with dual 40W speakers. Each speaker comes with Smart Amp Technology and inbuilt array microphone. It also includes AI mic noise cancellation feature.
